Well, I'm pretty excited to get home and play the new DLC. We have a ton of Open Field maps, this will be great to just play in some tighter corridors with weapons I normally wouldn't use in the Open Fields.

I love Battlefield. I am a premium member, so I have this map pack already and I HATE IT.
No joke, I played the new maps for 2 hours tops. They have such a Call of Dutyish feel to them it just sucks ass.

I play Battlefield to play Battlefield. If I wanted to run and gun I would play MW3.

So my opinion. If you like Battlefield the way it is now don't buy Battlefield: Call of Duty....I mean Close Quarters. The only plus out of it is the new guns. Save your money for the next map pack, when we get this biggest map in Battlefield history, and new vehicles....you know the map pack that should of came out before Close Quarters.

I understand that they are trying their best to beat CoD, and by releasing this map pack they may indeed get some to switch, but shouldn't EA/DICE concentrate more on the people that already play the game, the ones who bought it day one? What about the hardcore fans of Battlefield that could give a shit less about these tiny, CoD camper filled maps?

Agreed, got all achievements second day it came out for Premium then started playing for weapon service stars, I couldn't play on those new maps, I just couldn't.

Honest to say, it was difficult going for three wins on Conquest Dom for the JNG, I got pretty much every other assignment outside of the map pack *cough* Gulf Of Omen *cough*.

The biggest map ever is for the most part only available to PC gamers, console gamers only get part of the map. So not big. That was the one thing that had me interested and they stomped on it. Funny thing is that a fair amount of CoD DLC is to be discounted soon and that will just make this look very over priced.

Damn it, when I saw that picture with 7 capture points, and the team flying what I assume is an AC130 gunship, my god I got chills. Hopefully we still get the gunship, plus even though console maps are scaled down, it still should be the biggest map ever for console, correct? Since it will be a scaled down one of the biggest map on PC.

Battlefield fan since Battlefield 2. However I have zero interest in Close Quarters and zero interest in Premium. EA/DICE have jumped the shark with Battlefield. The SP is so cookie cutter I haven't finished it, the co-op is bland. Thank goodness MP is still fun, although no doubt Premium can screw up the game balance enough to fix that.

Two of the new maps are decent but the roof warehouse one sucks ass. When I thought Close Quarters I was thinking along the lines of the map "Operation Metro" not some COD map clones crap.

The CQ DLC is hardly worth the money so I hope they make it up with the other upcoming DLC's. On the bright side though (for some of you), the CQ maps make the achievements a lot easier to get.

I was looking forward to this map map and same as what Templar said I was hoping they would be like metro. But reading this thread that there is a lot of negitive for it been too much of a Call of Duty map pack. Not going to bother now, going to wait for armored kill.
