| While I'm not one for basketball, I do find the textured controller skin intriguing. Though it'd be a disappointment if it were just a plain sticker that came off with ease (or degraded over time; folding, dirt, etc). |

If that ball really is a Spalding Official Size then I think that's a CE that's tempting to me, with the controller skin/headphones thrown in.
I haven't heard much of the features of 2k13 though, are they bringing back the legends stuff? I got to look at that... |

| Why do nearly all sports games from 2K & EA get released in the wrong year? i mean this is supposed to be next years version, but its getting released this year. |

Soccer runs from August 2012 to May 2013 in the major leagues.
American football runs from Sept 2012 to Feb 2013.
NBA I think is very similar to football.
Whereas, because Formula 1 runs from March 2012 to November 2012, the game linked to this season will be F1 2012. |

Wow. I consider myself a huge basketball enthusiast...I'm a season ticket holder for the Bobcats (I know, but I still love 'em), have been fortnuate to meet many former and current stars and chat with em and get autographs, etc., but this package isn't impressive for the price tag. You can go to Dick's or Sports Authority or any sporting goods retailer and get a better looking ball, and probably better performing for less than $30-$40. If it was an actual textured controller, I'd be interested, but not a controller skin.
To each his own, but I was hoping for a better edition than this. MKG! |
