London 2012: The Official Video Game is out in stores now, and what better way to celebrate this fact than by watching a launch trailer for the game, which involves many athletes doing what athletes do:

The Manic Moose - I'm actually looking forward to the Xbox One. A few things are annoying like no backwards compatability but thats why...

This game is OK. It has its hits and misses in the games. There are some REALLY frustrating games in the game. Then there are some REALLY easy ones too. And, there are some genuinely fun games in the game.

I would say it is what you should expect for playing an Olympics game. Also, there are going to be some genuinely difficult achievements. So if you are a completionist, you may want to think hard about playing this. The main difficult one will be getting Gold in all the events on Medium or Hard. That MAY sound like no big deal, but some of the games have wonky controls that are hair trigger or just plain difficult to get just right. Also the difficulty REALLY ramps up from easy to medium (and not just like a normal difficulty jump from easy to medium either). So, again, if your a completionist, you may A) want to think really long and hard about this game or B) try it on another gametag first to see if you could do it with no issues.

Hopefully they tone down the button mashing by like 10% - tbh olympic games dont have to be hard to be fun, i had a blast with Vancouver but Beijing 2008 was just SO hard.

Dissapointed, was expecting so much for a game we had to wait 4 years for! Button bashing, pulling strange faces and wishing you had a new arm has now been replced with "Pressing A" in a timely fashion not to fast though or you'll mess up and "Stamina" bars.

Whats exciting about that?

Beijing 2008 in my opinion was much better you had to put the work in to beat events/WR. I've only had a few hours at it and ive beaten most track/feild records with very little effort.

Unless your a hardcore sports fan i wouldn't rush out to buy.
