Cars of a different colour

Written by punkyliar on 03 July 12 at 22:57

This week sees DLC releases for seven Xbox 360 retail games. One of the games adds extra achievements to its list. We don't have region exclusive DLC. Here is this week’s list:

Dragon's Dogma
• "From a Different Sky - Part 7" – 80 MSP
The seventh batch of 10 quests in the series, 'From a Different Sky.' Their goals are simple: obtain special medallions. But it will take all your smarts to get them all. Check the notice board below the Pawn Guild to begin! *Some quests may only be taken on or completed at certain points in the story, or with certain combinations of vocations and skills. *A maximum of 6 quests appear on each notice board at a time. Please clear a few if you don't see your new purchases right away.• "A Face of a Different Color" – 160 MSP
Change your whole attitude with 7 new color variations and 6 new voice types for the character customization tool. Arisens are never ones to be lost in a crowd, but with these you'll stand out even more. As a special bonus, the Nameless Armor will be added to the Black Cat's inventory--with an extra set sent to your item storage. Just look for the blue-green icons! *This bonus can only be applied once per saved data. If the items are discarded or given away during gameplay, they will be lost.Forza Motorsport 4 - more details here.

Can Kinect Star Wars do anything right?

How about calling one of the Rancor variants a "Money Grub"?

Kit Fisto was a pre-order bonus so I guess the same goes for the other 3. Still totally pointless, just like the game itself laugh

It would have been nice to have those Saints Row vehicles months ago, when we were actually playing. Releasing them now...they have no purpose. I know THQ is in trouble, but I don't think this will help much.

RedDeadKBII said:All Shall Perish? Thought they were too heavy for Rock Band.Rock Band Network - which is not the same as the RB Store that contains tracks made by Harmonix - has all sorts of crap on it that would surprise you. When they gave bands the tools to create their own RBN DLC, it really opened the door for hundreds of groups that never would have been considered for Harmonix-made tracks. A decent percentage of songs on RBN are labeled "Metal", although I admit not being a sufficient judge of whether any particular group is "heavy" enough to qualify. Look for yourself:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Rock_Band_Network_songs

Also, really? RB isn't overly heavy on metal, but there have been some tracks here and there. Honestly, if Abnormality isn't heavy enough, I don't want to hear it. I didn't want to hear "Visions" to begin with.
MH The Rockstar - Finally got around to watching The Avengers (I know, only a year or so late). Thoroughly enjoyed it.
