THQ Gives Devil's Third Back to Valhalla

By Michelle Balsan, 4 years ago
When we last brought you news of Valhalla Game Sudios', it was to let you know that its publisher, THQ, had decided to shop the rights to the title. Today, word has come down that the rights to Devil's Third have now been returned to Valhalla.

Devil's Third was first revealed at E3 2010, though we've seen little else from the game since then. The game has had some trouble in development, as the studio that created the engine the game was running on folded midway through the game creation process and everything had to be switched to a new engine as a result. The game is reportedly nearly complete now, and it's simply a matter of Valhalla, which is led by Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden creator Tomonobu Itagaki, finding a publisher.

There is, obviously, no set release window for Devil's Third, though it was slated for a Q1 2013 release with THQ.
