While many of you have been
Bean Diving throughout the week, we've finally made it to the actual day of the event. On today, July 7th, 2012, hundreds of people across TA are in the process of the Dive. To help coordinate all Dive-related happenings in one place, we launched the
Bean Dive 2012 Hub, where over 1,000 of you have already registered to let us know you're participating.
We'd like to take this opportunity to highlight some of the features of the hub, as well as to point out some stats relevant to the event.
First of all, and most importantly, the hub is your spot to
register for the event. In addition, you can also see your friends' Dives, the top Divers on the site by Games Started or Completion Percentage dropped, and links to current Dive-related forum topics and information on recent registrations. A new addition to the hub is the ability to check out your own stats and Completion Percentage chart. This information will appear right under your GamerTag and TA score on the right side of the screen. We also have a new smiley to celebrate the event!
If all the current registrants successfully Dive all the games they have registered, over 30,000 games will be started. To date, over 6,000 games have been started in conjunction with the event. The most popular game set to be Dived is the recently (and freely) available
Kinect Fun Labs: 5 Micro Lab Challenge. In fact, of the top 10 games that registrants intend to start, six are
Fun Labs gadgets. Also in the top ten are
Haunt (another Kinect title which was recently free), and
http://www.trueachievements.com/Beyond-Good--Evil-HD-xb....htm (which was free with another game purchase and on sale a couple of times). The only two retail titles to make the top 10 were

Before setting you all back about your days and the continuation of your Dive, we just want to point out the top 3 divers by Games started and by Completion Percentage dropped. At the time of the writing of this article,
mfeforever has dived a whopping 187 titles and he's not done yet, as he's registered 297 titles. Not too far behind him is
RPGDavey with 172 titles, though that number leaves him with another 109 titles left to Dive according to his registration. Rounding out the top three is
Jayour with an impressive 155 games Dived out of his registered 257. We'd also like to include a shout-out to
DarthGoose13, who is the only other Diver with over 100 games Dived so far with a current total of 122.
On the completion side of things,
LeeDavie has dropped his Completion Percentage a whopping 52.55% bringing him from the mid-80s to the mid-30s.
Zinrey dropped his completion 46.85% to secure himself a brown badge in that category with a current Completion percentage of 17.43%. Finally,
X InFlames80 X has shaved 30.44% off of his completion, which was formerly in the lofty high-90s, with his Dive. Divers with high Percentage losses tend to not have many games on their cards, but that won't make recovery less impressive! For those curious, the highest drop in Completion Percentage from a gamer with more that 100 games tracked is
M0NKEY R4NGER, who has lost 27.82% from his dive so far.
There's still plenty of time to join in on the insanity that is the Bean Dive! To all who have participated thus far, thank you for doing so and good luck on your recovery.
