Risen 2: Dark Waters Trailer is a Monstrosity

Dark and miserable waters infested with dangerous beasts

Thankfully, Wizarbox and Piranha Bytes had already schooled us on how to put up a good fight once players pick up Risen 2: Dark Waters and begin to explore the world of Arborea. Of course, a fighter can't truly be set for a good battle unless they know exactly what they are up against. Knowledge is power, and with this compendium named "Bestiary of Arborea", we can acquire plenty of knowledge and info on the upcoming nasties to be found lurking in the dark waters.

The Titan Lord Mara's dark powers have transformed many beings of Arborea into evil nasty monsters infesting beaches, waters and the land. Some of the enemies you will encounter whilst venturing through the land range from small creatures such as crabs and sand devils, to the larger enemies like the mighty Leviathans and the Gargoyle. Check out the trailer which gives a brief summary of many of the enemies to come in the title:



Risen 2: Dark Waters is scheduled for release on July 31st for North America, and Europe 3rd for Europe.

Whoa is this based off actual Japanese history? Because it has giant enemy crabs.

Not bad looking better than what I've seen so far of this game. Definitely something I'd pick up on sale.

It was a PC port, so it was appropriately awful to begin with. It wasn't just awful because of that, though. It was just atrocious in general. This game looks entirely different, to be honest, so maybe there's hope for it. But I can guarantee you that I will not be giving the developers any of my money after that first abortion of a game. Maybe when it hits the bargain bin at Gamestop.

I'm definately excited played the 1st one twice, a compelling story was at the heart of it. Hope to see it in the sequal.

Btw the trailer makes me really itching for the 31st already preordered the beauty months ago.
