Deadlight Developer Diary 3: The Art Of Deadlight

Anyone preparing for the inevitable zombie apocalypse has likely seen the first two developer diaries for Deadlight that took us back to the 1980's and gave us an insight into some of the ideas that inspired the game. Tequila Works' third development diary for Deadlight focuses on the worn, dirty and raw style of art, as the team delves into how they mixed a hyperrealisitc graphical style with overexposed lighting to create this dark, yet beautiful, world. It also reveals how the intro animation was created with as little as a piece of paper and a pair of scissors.



Deadlight features as part of this year’s Summer of Arcade promotion and will be released on August 1st for 1200MSP.
