How does Tony's dislike of the price tag make him in a anyway a hippie or were you just trying to make a witty remake on a forum via trolling? Maybe you should, ya know, back up your arguements with something tangible Arron114

To quote "24th door"'s comment on Joystiq (gaah!):
"This game is too outdated and obscure to win ANY new fans. The only people who will buy it are the hardest of hardcore devotees. If the biggest names in fighters are only pulling in about a million in sales, than Capcom has to count on only the smallest percentage of that community to want the game at all. They have a projected sales number, and $20 is the dollar amount per unit they NEED to charge in order to justify such a boutique project. If you're here complaining about the price, don't worry. Capcom (probably rightly) assumed you wouldn't be buying it anyway."
This. |

This.Bingo. All the guys I know with arcade sticks will bite at this price point (including myself). |

| There's nothing wrong with them adding more fighters to the 360 retail or arcade. I'm very excited for this title it's a classic! If you don't want to play it don't fighter fans should be pleased about this.. |

| Played both arcade versions and also both PSX and Dreamcast versions, I kinda hope they'll bring back the story mode from the PSX version, but all in all, arcade version with all characters unlocked (or to be bought with VP at the very most) would kick ass, but 1600MSP is a bit pricey... I'll thnk about it twice, still, this game is quite unique, and a must-try for all 2D fighting game fans! |

I actually had a copy of this on the PS1 to play with my friend. It was fun trying to learn the game. Though, never really learned a lot of the moves etc. It's a seriously cool fighter. Particularly if you like the anime/manga. (One of the best series imo) This is actually a rather big surprise to me releasing this. For fighter fans who never got a chance, if you are willing to pay such a price, I think it's worth it for the experience alone. If you are in to anime/manga though, I'd really recommend you check that out first as you'll appreciate the use of moves and characters a lot more.
I think I'll try and hold out to hope the price will go down in some sale, if ever... |
