| Honestly i think Ralph and Danica Patrick are a wasted slot. I would rather have seen Axel from Streets of Rage or the guy from alter beast for some reason i cant remember his name right now. |

Only characters I really need are those from the Sonic universe, I've never heard of this guy. Though it is nice to see new characters, the trailer for the film made me laugh too haha. |

I think this and the previous Sonic Racing have a fair amount of “fanservice” in it already, but at the same time you need to think of sales and profits.
I think Ralph fits well in this universe (like he left his game for this one!), but Danica seems a bit out of place. At the same time though I think that the inclusion of both these characters are cross-marketing homeruns. |

I was actually considering buying this... now i know Disney are involved i'm not interested. Likewise with the Film. Disney are exploiting time-honoured computer game characters because their own ideas are old and stale. I watched about 30 seconds of the movie trailer and i don't think i'll ever be able to look at Street Fighter the same again. Disney have shat upon other peoples material for decades now, knowing that the Game companies have willingly involved themselves and their characters in this makes me shudder to think about the future.
Disney/Pixar's last film John Carpenter was one of the biggest Box-Office flops of all time BTW. I see this as a desperate attempt to cash in on other franchises popularity to try and re-coop their $200M+ loss. |

Your opinion is fair enough though, I'm not a huge fan of Disney being involved in anything I love either, and this is one of them, I doubt they'll have much involvement other than the added character, if you've played the first game then you really should believe in the developers and hope they do a great job, the first game really was awesome, personally one of the best racers I've ever played, if not then I highly suggest you pick it up and give it a shot |

This new information makes me "not interested". I don't see how that's any different to, for example, not watching the new Conan movie after finding out Arnie isn't in it, Or not watching Prometheus because it's a shameless cash in on the ALIEN franchise. Cast and characters are important to me. If the first game was so good why stoop to including TWO TERRIBLE CAMEOS for this one? I don't want the people making the game to think i like what they have done by giving them my money. A "bad judgement call" IMO would be paying into something that i don't agree with. EDIT (i don't even like using the phrase "bad judgement call", because quite frankly it doesn't mean anything) You assume that this game is great before it is released (based on its predecessor) and choose to question my motives for not playing it? (based on what i've seen of this game) |

I'm behind this game 100% but seriously... Danica Patrick. Better be. A fucking avatar you can pick to drive the fucking avatar car and not an actual one of the 27 slots wasted. Even still -come on guys 25 is still pretty good considering each car is technically 3 vehicles for them to come up with. *sigh* You just knew we'd be seeing things like this after they dropped the "Sega" and now it's just "Sonic and All-Stars" I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt here- they know who the fans want to see from the Sega roster. These guys know their stuff- even taking jabs at Mario Kart's 'Blue Shell bullshit' so this is still my most anticipated game coming this year- I'm pulling for Toejam and Earl all the way myself XD and I don't think the Sonic fans need to worry he's always well represented in these games whether he's in the title or not (I like Sonic too but lets not go nuts here) ... as for Wreck it Ralph? I guess that's fine I never gave a shit about Banjo-Kazooie and I still thought the first Sega racing was a fantastic game not like he ruined it for me or anything -so fuck it he can have the slot. If it boosts sales everybody wins. If his movie sucks well... maybe they can patch him out. |

(based on what i've seen of this game)I didn't actually mean anything bad by that, but thanks anyway... I'm assuming it's going to be great because I loved the first one, and personally from my own experience, I've never been let down by a sequel (scratch DBZ Ultimate Tenkaichi, that was just awful) or SEGA for that matter. I really didn't mean anything bad by it, I apologise if you thought that. |

SEGA have already said before that that Danica Patrick and Ralph will not take up the slots for the actual SEGA characters. They said they are just added bonuses that they put in because they already had everything made. They had extra time, so they threw these two people into the game. So please don't argue about these two people being in the game.
I will personally love seeing Wreck-It Ralph when it comes out to the theaters. To me, it feels like it is bringing in a lot of nostalgia. This game will be awesome just like the first, if not a lot better. Adding Ralph into it makes sense, as he left his video game for another. This can be one of the games. |

| The original "The Thing" movie is one of the scariest out there - just the idea! "John Carter" is based on the Edgar Rice Burroughs 'sci fi' novels. It's a rental, maybe. I've had a bit of fun with Disney/Pixar games anyway, but racing, probably not. Too clumsy and slow. Sigh. |

With Danica Patrick and Wreck-It Ralph it seems like SEGA/Sumo is screaming out "FREE ADVERTISING" to everyone and anyone, I think it depends more on Microsoft whether BK gets in again or not.
[But with the Banjo Minecraft skins, it's apparent that MS or somebody there still wants to keep Banjo's image relevant, and BK fit in perfectly in the first game] |
