| Really looking forward to Blacklist! Glad they're keeping us updated like this too, a great way to start community discussions about the game - plus, that Zack Cooper seems like a pretty cool guy. Mostly because he's actually a gamer, and a Splinter Cell fan. |

How's abuut you give a real reason for why Mr Ironside will no longer be tonguing our ears in Splinter Cell eh?
The whole "We needed somebody who could bring physicality to the character" doesn't really cut it. |

The whole "We needed somebody who could bring physicality to the character" doesn't really cut it.I think it's because they are cheap bitches and just didn't want to pay Mr. Ironside to do it again. Quite frankly because of this element, pretty much everything they say is them blowing smoke up our asses to get us to plunk down another $60 on a turd.
Another key element they haven't said much about is the multiplayer. Chaos Theory and Pandora Tomorrow had the best multiplayer of any series to date on Xbox. It was absolutely perfect and as always, Ubisoft takes something that isn't broke and breaks it then trys to convince us they have gone back to it and they never GET back.
Obviously the dude/chick above that hopes it's like double agent never play Chaos or Pandora because they sure wouldn't be asking for that garbage again. |

WhoDoYouVoodoo said:I hope this will have multiplayer similar to double agent. The concept was alright, but the execution was absolutely ridiculous.
In particulary the AI's tendency in the challenges, to calculate you're direction, then launch a grenade at you, was absurd. |

I really want to like this game, but every video so far is more of Conviction "run around with this infinite ammo pistol and to hell if you get seen" and less of the the "get spotted ONCE and mission over" of the great Splinter Cell games of old.
I miss the whistling distraction too.... |

I'm hoping this will be like Conviction where you at least have the choice on how you want to handle a situation. You can go stealth or you can go in all guns blazing. SC: Conviction is one of my favourite xbox games - Much better than Double Agent which I didn't enjoy at all. Why bother giving you a gun if you can't even use it? I hated that. Plus Double Agent had multiplayer and half of the achievements/GS came from that. YUK. That made it even worse... |
I like what I like and I don't what I don't. |

| I got bored after 30 seconds of listening to this. Why is it IMO that these guys blabbering on about their games talk me out of buying their shit. blah blah blah, just show me a teaser, and I'll probably be hooked. If they keep their franchises faithful to the rest, without changing the essence of their core, we wouldn't need some pleb spouting out shit, we would know what to expect. and as for not having the legend Ironside doing the voicework, just spells doom to me, and won't be the same. |

But it won't.Pretty much this. The fact that some objectives actually influenced the map you were on was great in Chaos Theory. (E.G. blowing up a generator to take out some lights or something.) |
