Dance Central 3 Release Date Announced[UPDATE]

Since the publication of this article, Harmonix released another key component to the Dance Central 3 storyline that invloves Boomie, the time travelling boombox, and DCI, The Dance Central Crime Investigations Unit. Word on the street is that this new storyline is as good as putting maple syrup on a hot dog. Let's check out the new information:

Today, Harmonix revealed two key bits of information regarding their upcoming, Kinect-enabled title, Dance Central 3.

First, they've revealed 11 new tracks that will be part of the setlist. While some are of the typical Dance Central variety, a couple will get you wondering how the series went through two installments and multiple DLC packs and managed not to include those tracks already.

2NE1 – “I Am The Best (Original Version)”
Alice Deejay – “Better Off Alone”
Backstreet Boys – “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”
J.J. Fad – “Supersonic”
Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz ft. Ying Yang Twins – “Get Low”
LMFAO – “Sexy And I Know It”
Los Del Rio – “Macarena (Bayside Boys Mix)”
Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera – “Moves Like Jagger”
Vanilla Ice – “Ice Ice Baby”
Vicki Sue Robinson – “Turn The Beat Around”
Village People – “Y.M.C.A.”Second, and perhaps more important, you can now circle the following dates on your calendars for when you can pick up your copy of Dance Central 3. In North America, it will release on October 16th. The game will arrive a few short days later on October 19th in Europe, Asia, and Australia.
