Gamers, I'd like to start this story off with a confession. It was bound to come out sometime and I can only take so much dogged pursuit from the press.

I grew up on a farm.

Yes... you may not realized it, but it's true. I raised pigs, turkeys, was a state champion in several 4-H projects, and helped around our family farm for most of my childhood. This may not qualify as video game news on most days, but today is not most days.

Today, Giants and Focus Home Interactive have announced Farming Simulator 2013. After their initial Farming Simulator sold over half-a-million copies in France and Germany, the companies have decided to bring the simulator back for a sequel.

While the concept of a farming simulator may not be new (remember SimFarm anyone?), Giants and Focus Home Interactive will be giving gamers a chance to manage their own farms and operate numerous farming vehicles.

Please do contain your excitement as we show off the first screenshots showing the iconic Case IH and Kuhn brands of farm equipment.

Hope this one comes for Xbox. I mean the shitty Crash Time games, only come from a shitty german TV series directly to Xbox!!! So the farming simulation should make it :D

You know what, before today I could live in ignorance of the lack of a harvest moon title for the Xbox. My false happiness has just been ruined.

Screw you Farming Simulator 2013 creators. Why did you have to do this to me?

anyone caught trespassing on my virtual farm will be shot on sight. survivors will be shot again. hopefully they incorporate a FPS mode for me to do so :)
