Valve announced yesterday on their official blog that the first piece of Left 4 Dead 2's DLC, The Passing, would arrive next week.
So enough worlds colliding, when is "The Passing" coming out? Well... if it was coming out next week we would say right here - Left 4 Dead 2's The Passing is coming out next week and we will be updating the blog next week with more news on the release. There you go.
The Passing has once already been delayed, originally having a "late March" release window.
The Passing is set to add a number of things to Left 4 Dead 2, namely a new campaign set between the Dead Center and Dark Carnival campaigns, a machine gun, a golf club, a new variant on the Witch special infected, a new "uncommon common" infected called the Fallen Survivor, new game types, 3 new maps, presumably for the game's various competitive game types, and a chance to meet the Left 4 Dead survivors.
Look for The Passing to hit the Marketplace next week. It is currently priced at 560 MP.
UPDATE: There is now a list of the achievements that will come with The Passing up at the Left 4 Dead Blog (link below), however no point values are associated with them yet.
