no games on my radar this year to be excited about...but that's ok because my backlog is enormous!

Favourite games of 2019
This list is mostly for me, I write one every year as a memory, but also its fun. I haven't played every game that came out this year, nor have I played anything on Playstation. With that said, here are the games I enjoyed in the order they came out this year.

Vrally 4: I'm a big racing fan, its my favourite genre. But I've never played a previous game in this series. Also, I got this for Christmas, so its technically the last game of the year I played. Its pretty good! I like the graphics and control. I like variety in the race types and haven't tried them all yet. Not as hard as Dirt Rally 2, which I played but got frustrated with quickly.

Crackdown 3: Hugely anticipated including by myself. I've never beaten a Crackdown game and really haven't spent a lot of time with any, but this is a fun game. I know I'll play the single player more eventually. Didn't get into the multiplayer much

Yoshi's Crafted World: I got this for my birthday. Very pretty game, and fun. Lots to do and collect, so I'll be playing this for awhile.

Rage 2: Only started this when it came to gamepass late in the year. Fun but not sure how far I'll get. I like it more than the first but I never finished that either.

Slay the Spire: A very simple game that is so addictive! I've beaten it with each character and yet still haven't Slain the Spire, so I keep coming back to it. My family hates it!

Void Bastards: Another gamepass gem. This one is unique and fun, though can be annoying at how long it takes to get anywhere. The more stuff you manage to build the farther you get, so I'll play it more.

Outer Wilds: A very interesting little game on gamepass. I never finished it, but did have fun exploring. Probably won't go back to it.

Super Mario Maker 2: Only got this later in the year, but its great. I've only actually played the story mode so far. I know I'll spend lots more time with this.

Gears 5: I've never loved this series, but have played all the main games. This one is probably the best because of the open world portions. Haven't finished yet but I definitely will.

Zelda Link's Awakening: Loved the original game. Very pretty remake of it. Probably 60% though and got stuck a bit. I'll beat it soon.

Mario Kart Tour: A phone game, but a great one. Lots of people complained about the money part but its a lot of fun for free, though more recently I'm a bit frustrated by the leaderboards because clearly paying gets you more characters and such much faster.

The Outer Worlds: Probably my favourite console game this year! I've never beaten a Fallout game but this is similar with space elements. Fun and funny at times. I beat it and started a new game but probably won't continue.

Luigi's Mansion 3: Another very pretty Nintendo title. Have always enjoyed these but overall feels too repetitive. Probably 30% through but will finish it.

Thats it for the games I've purchased or played on gamepass this year. There are tons more I played and a bunch I still want to play including: Resident Evil 2, Mortal Kombat 11, Control, Need for Speed Heat and Star Wars Fallen Order. Soon I'll make a list of games I'm excited for in 2020.
