Saints Row: The Third Walkthrough

1. Walkthrough overview

**Be warned, this walkthrough may contain spoilers in places. Whilst they will be avoided as much as possible, this will not always hold true.**

This walkthrough will begin with some information on the General Hints & Tips page that will help you progress through the game in the most efficient way possible. This page will recommend that you purchase all of the Cribs, Shops and Properties as soon as you can. Each of these increases your hourly income. Once you have a steady income, you should then think about strategically purchasing various upgrades.

The following page contains information on the story of Saints Row: The Third. On multiple occasions throughout the story, you are forced to make a decision that affects the rewards that you earn from the mission. Aside from the missable rewards, there is one missable achievement based on your decision-making. The walkthrough will give you prior warning to this event, and will suggest that you make a new save, allowing you to obtain both achievements without starting a new game.

The 'Taking Over Steelport' page will give you information, hints and tips for all of the activities in the game, and the benefits from each one. Some of the activities appear as missions earlier in the game, so they will be repeated from the Story walkthrough page. This page will also give you information on all of the stores, properties and gang ops in each of the four districts.

Assassinations and Vehicle Thefts each have their own page, giving you information on how to eliminate/deliver each target. Note that some of these targets may not be available until later in the story. Similarly, the 'Challenges' page gives details on how you can work on each of the 41 challenges in the game. Whilst you should work on most of the challenges after the game, you should be aware of what is required for them, as you can easily complete many of them through natural gameplay. The 'Challenges' page also gives information on several achievements that are associated with the challenges. Note that various challenges should be completed before you control Steelport to make things easier. For example, the 'Gang Members Taunted' challenge is much more difficult once you control the city.

Pages 8 and 9 of the walkthrough include information on how to obtain the various Miscellaneous achievements, the collectibles and all upgrades in the game (excluding DLC). All DLC-related achievements will be shown on the final page of the walkthrough, separated in to their respective DLC packs. The additional activities and story missions do not affect the achievements from the main game.
