So essentially they liked the Pogo model and are adding badges/challenges on top of achievements? EA STRIKES AGAIN!

Yeah, I'm not too pleased about that, but I do like that the timesensitive stuff isn't gonna effect gamerscore at all.
Would you be okay with 50/51 for 1,000 gamerscore? If I wanted a completion, I'd be slightly perturbed.

How did you do this in one day Ryan? Some toughies in here.
Because even struggling with a couple achievements it should still be 10 hours or less. Rampage, one of the racing ones, Joust 2 and Smash TV were the only ones that took
any real effort if memory serves. Joust and SmashTV i got after less than 5 tries on the day i finished it. Plus Ryan is a completion wizard.
Even if it took 10 hours, that's a long haul for a lot of bad games! I blasted through all the games I really like in about an hour! 9 more hours of suffering? No way!
And I see I was wrong, it took him 3 days. Why I remember 1 day is beyond me...
I had trouble with I hunger and the joust 2 ones. It still only took maybe 5-6 hours of real game play
They will probably add more. Purchase every game released in a week X. Preorder X# of games. Play every launch title on launch day.
They released rules that all games need a cross platform achievement (tablet, phone), and cross game achievement (play a prior Madden game to get x in this Madden game)..

...as well as being able to add an achievement at any time (play the 06/11/13 Madden tournament online). This will kill completionists.
So odd that everything they are doing is such a terrible decision.

Sure, but doesn't mean I like it. That plus nothing I really need at launch hasn't changed my tune. It did change Combo's though...

I hope you like this. I don't envy the multi grind you're gonna go through... I kinda wish I never bought the stupid multiplayer DLC and just stuck with a GS like
1050/1490... I wish I ignored the multi because it's horrible and the grind will make you hate the game. But the single player is great, I loved it. And I loved the
single player DLC. It was so bizarre... really neat to play those strange FPS platforming levels in the DLC
I'm going to be happy with the 1k/1k on this one, so I'll be skipping a lot of the annoying multiplayer dlc.

If you will be living together install all games on one system with one tag regardless of who buys them. Sounds like the tag and the system will share licenses. No need
to swap license then since it sounds like it will work the same way as XBLA/DLC works now.

I see. I'm fine with it because I'm seeing Xbox One as basically a digital only console. Every disc just gives you a digital copy of the game. And the new DRM for XB1
is a lot better than the current DRM for XBLA/DLC/GOD.
I am just glad there are A LOT of 360 games I still have to play, so I have no desire for a XBONE anytime in the next few years.
If next gen is digital only, why not go PC? Same loco- my 360 backlog is huge enough that I don't need to be an XBoner because it's shiny and new.
PC gaming is an annoying minefield of inconvenient BS. There's a reason I've played ~~90 games on my 360 and have barely touched a single PC game besides Warcraft 3 DOTA
I love closed environment on home consoles. Everything is simple, easy, works without a hitch, and takes zero tinkering.
Having said that... yes... no more used games or free lending and borrowing is going to suck.

I was gonna start this at some point this summer... I've had it forever.
I started it 3 years ago but only got like 30 minutes in, it's decent but the world is ugly and baren. The main character looks like Gary Busey on a drug binge.
Man, now I can't wait to try it :p
