I beat the game on medium and then finished off the last achievement with this method and it worked perfectly. If it weren't the worst game I've played, then I would've been interested in beating it legitimately, but the game was painfully disappointing. Also, there's no reason people should be voting negative on a guide that works perfectly...

Is there any possibility to get band for this? It works great but after deleting the savegame I only have now the choice to replay a senario only for the first and the last stage but when I beat the game on easy I was able to select any stage I wanted. Isn't this bad?

I just beat the game on Easy because I tried hard at 1st and even though it wasnt the hardest game it got annoying as shit when you die. It forces you to watch that half hour long load time of a terminators red eyes. Are you F'N kidding me. I even put it on the hard drive as I do all my games until I'm done w/ them, then I delete it off the HDD.
I just couldnt put myself through this garbage ass fake me out Gears style rip off.

Game sucks balls. And this glitching to get the Medium & Hard achievements is cheating and too much to go through, call me lazy, but it's still glitching the system and I aint never doing that.

Phuture that happens with most games' stackable achievements when you actually beat hard first and dont play easy. It's actually a way of showing that you never played easy and jumped right to hard. Some might find it desirable to have it show that way.

I beat the game on easy like the first week the game was out and i deleted the save off my HDD. Would this method still work if I just completely skipped the first step and staredt with the second?

Thanks for this. Playing the game on hard was an exercise in frustration and I had to give up. (I'm bad at swerve-heavy turret sequences, it turns out).

Wow thanks for that. My save file is now gone and now I have to replay the whole game! At step 2, when you join with your main profile it overwrites your save file. Therefor eliminating my save of the final chapter. So thank you for wasting my time. You may want to edit you guide about this issue. Maybe a little tid-bit about using a different save location so it doesn't overwrite the file. You need to tell people to make a backup of there save at the beginning, not after step 4.

For the people having trouble you didn't follow the steps properly then. Read and do ecactly like the guide tells you. And for the people that vote negative. Why? This is a proper solution. Do don't have to do it this way. But the solution works.

That is the correct order. If you were to beat it on hard legitimately the hard achievement pops first, then the medium.

YouStayClassy posted it at x360a and that is where this person found it. So the author of this solution followed the rules of this site and credited where he found the solution. He never claimed YouStayClassy was anything more than a user of x360a.

@anyone who is thinking about using this glitch
The original poster of this glitch at another site has now had his gamer score reset. I don't know that this glitch is the reason for it but I imagine it probably is since this is a game save glitch (Microsoft resets gamer scores for game save glitching). So be warned before doing it. Game is extremely easy to beat on hard anyways.

doing this will not reset your gamerscore. playing on a modded Xbox will. And the game save glitch you are referring to is when you get a game save off the internet and mod it into your game. this is not that type.

No, using this method is EXACTLY why YouStayClassy got her Gamerscore reset. I'm a very good friend of hers and I saw the email she got from Microsoft. This is a horrible, horrible method and even though I love her like a sister she deserved her reset 100%.

Sorry but there had to be another reason the score got reset. I have posted this over a year an a half and my score was not reset. Nor was any of my friends who did the same thing. You have to tamper with software and hardware and be found 100% at fault for cheating. Not even 99%. this is not a cheat. This is a glitch in the game that can be exploited. There are plenty of other games that something like can also be done. So your friend might not be telling you the whole story.

After the big Gears of War cheating scandal and the Call of duty mass bricking of modded xboxes Microsoft posted what will and won't get your score reset. This is not one of those occurances. Hacking software, modding an xbox, using glitches in multiplayer games to determine the outcome, hacking a game to be unlegitamitely on top of leaderboards, or tampering with memory cards from file share websites and using a computer to hack a save are such offenses. So because I beat Transformers War for Cybertron on hard by only replaying the final checkpoint and it gave me the achievement is not me hacking the software or modding my xbox. It is a exploit from the game manufacturer.

Lola linked me to this thread, she tells the truth. What I did wasn't gamesaving in the literal sense, but apparently someone at Microsoft considered the WAY I did it, with the manipulation of save files via a memory card qualified JUST ENOUGH to count.

I think I still have the email somewhere, but it's too depressing to even think about to look for. When Microsoft went to their new server system with the new Xbox.com it became much easier to find stuff like what I did, but I really really hope only I get punished since I'm the creator of it. I don't think I could live with myself if I got hundreds? Thousands? of innocent gamers' scores reset for my mistakes.

Once again, I'm so SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry everyone. If you do get reset because of me, well I guess you can find me on Sony's PSN network as "VousRestezChic" and holler some venom at me. I certainly deserve it. :(

The solution sounds long, and with possible risks, just play it through on hard, it's so easy anyway, started it yesterday (18/10/11 @ 8.00pm,stopped at 11.00pm, carried on @10.00am on 19/10/11 and completed it at11.15am) and im no top gamer, still, each to their own

Microsoft will NOT reset you for this, they only reset you if you earn online only achievements offline or like 100k in 1 day. The amount of idiots who think you can get reset for this amazes me.

Is it possible to just complete the last stage on hard instead of the whole game? Already completed 5 of the stages so far, but it's just a pain in the arse waiting on the game loading when you die.... Cheers

Maybe it's because I don't really play shooter that much at all, but I did not find "hard mode" to be "easy" at all! Going to use this trick instead.

I'm also really surprised that people think you will get punished for this. I've looked at people's achievements that one this achievement this way and they all still have it.
