Before I proceed, I just want to thank the guys who wrote the other solutions for this one. It was the last one I need, and suffering from motion sickness when playing flight simulators didn't help. I'm writing this to add on to what FishyOutOfWater and Darkchyle wrote for this achievement.
Step-by-step guide:
1. Load Chapter V, and the checkpoint "Air Battle" on "Easy".
2, Fight through the first phase of this battle by defeating the small planes. To destroy them, stay put, aim with your right thumbstick, and you should see the crosshair zooming into the planes. Move a bit until the crosshair zooms all the way in, and press RT to fire.
3. Once the planes are done, Stratosphere appears. At this point in time, you've to deal with some small planes, and random bots standing on top of it. You'll also see a lifebar for Stratosphere.
4. Kill the small planes and bots, and then land on Stratosphere. Interact with the respective weak points (there are two of them, one appearing after another) on it and damage the plane enough until the Aerialbots are sent after you.
5. Defeat the Aerialbots using the same method as the small planes.
6. Now, finally, you can do the achievement! This is when you see Stratosphere with a brand new, full lifebar, as well as four mini-lifebars for the other planes attacking you. This is also when Starscreams says something to the tune of "I've a surprise package for you".
7. Now, start killing the small planes, and collect the energon they leave behind. You'll notice that on the top left (your LB button's ability) of the screen, a light blue meter begins to fill up. Kill two planes to fill it up fully.
8. You'll now notice the guided rocket on Starscream! It's the white, rocket-looking thing. Now, press LB to activate it, and then press LB again to shoot it.
9. Rinse and repeat this process for another 4 times to unlock the achievement. Make sure you don't die in the process, obviously.
Points to note:
- Stratosphere can't take much hits from the guided missile. As such, DO NOT AIM at it when using the missile. Instead, use your right thumbstick to aim elsewhere, and let the missile miss its target deliberately.
- The achievement didn't unlock for me after five uses of the guided missile, without dying. I kept at it though, and it unlocked while I was aiming the missile on my 8th attempt (haven't shot it). I believe there could be a little bit of lag with this, but just keeping doing it and you should get it eventually.
