This is one of the two multiplayer achievments in the game.

The two multiplayer achievments will roughly pop around the same time.

Please note, this achievment will pop during the game when you reach the 9th room. The 1million points achievment will not pop until after the game has finished.

You get points for getting your lanterns as far as possible. If you get to the 9th room, and your achievment pops, chances are you've hit 1 million. But keep going to be safe. This achievment doesn't pop til after the game, so there is no way to track your score.

Use teamwork, and get your lantern as far as possible -

Below is a video of mine and Fliptriq's run. It was actually an impressive run, as neither of us died once. You can see how we alternate the armour as needed for health, and upgrade one guys guns fully first before starting on the second persons.

We use the Shield and the laser for weapons.

If you have more people, recomended setup is 2x Shield, 1 x Laser, 1x Lightning.

Use the shields to clear rocks after each area, and then defend the team from out in front of the lantern carriers.

For the snakes, use the laser on the head. For the sticky rocks, use the lightning. For the small critters, use the shields to attack. This is all dependant on how many people you are playing with.

If everyone co-ordinates properly, it should take to long to reach room 9 and get 1million points.
DaveOwl I know that your solution does it with two people but is Lantern Run not possible solo too? From Giant Bomb's preview I thought you could - just appears from your writing that it must be done through multiplayer?

Would be cool if someone could confirm.

Fliptriq You can do it solo, it is just much harder that way. When you select Lantern Run from the menu choose to host a Local Game. Through that you can play solo.

Lavindathar Cheers Justinman114. It was me that couldnt hear him. I knew what was going on though, as earlier on he told me his headset battery was dying. So when he stopped speaking I knew his battery had died, and then we had to try and work around it.
