Apparently you need the Anniversary pack for this one, too. I was the only person without Anniversary in a party, and we did this so that nobody touched the flag; at the end of the game everybody got the achievement but me.

Hmm interesting. So did you purchase the Defiant Pack but have not yet purchased either the Anniversary Pack or Halo: CE Anniversary?

Correct, I bought Noble & Defiant when they came out but haven't bought either CE Anniversary or the Anniversary map pack.

I think it's because you don't actually get the achievements added to the game until you buy the map pack, since Reach is still showing 59/59 for me when I look at it on my xbox.

Ah yes I did notice that my Reach did not update until I popped in the Anniversary Disc. I will update the solution. Thank you!

Just completed this on highlands and entire game on condemned without the other team touching the flag. Did NOT pop so may be glitched. Anyone else have this problem????

I had the same thing happen on Condemned. I heard it HAS to be on Team Objective playlist to get. Anyone know for sure if this is correct?

While boosting don't touch ANY flag during the match, doesn't matter who has to attack/defend and everybody will get this at the end.

This achievement didnt unlock even though i met the criteria :s :(

Actually for this achievement no team can touch the flag for the entire match because i tried to do it legit twice and my team never got our flag touched but we captured the other teams flag and we didn't get the achievement. Then me and my friends went to a boosting session and we tied all 4 rounds and both teams got the achievement. So i think this is where the problem might be in. Just make sure none of you will touch the flag at all throughout the whole game, and the game will end after 4 rounds with a draw and you all should get the achievement. Hope this helps :)

I know I completed this in 1 out of 2 of the rounds I was defending, and it didnt pop, so im assuming you have to keep them from touching it both rounds you are on defence... My best suggestion, on Highlands drive your warthog/Mongoose/Ghost up the lift onto the flag, hopefully it will foil one of their attempts to grab the flag giving some breathing room to stop the attack.

I can confirm that you only need to prevent the other the other team from touching the flag in one round. I played a game and in the first round the other team grabbed he flag. The second time though, we prevented them from touching it at all, and I got he achievement.

Also, you must have the Anniversary map pack to earn this achievement, but you can only earn this achievement on Highgrounds or Condemned.

FYI - Uplink is a Condemed variant that you CAN get this achievement on.

Can this be done in a local/custom game type or must it be done on XBL? (Same question applies to pretty much all the Defiant/Anniversary achievements.)

When any mention of matchmade is included that means you have to do it in standard matchmaking.

Not so. At least according to the Guides for the Defiant pack achievements (Crackin' Skulls, Return to Sender, Candy from a Baby).

Those all list a Custom game that can be downloaded and played with a second controller. I even seem to recall having done that myself, but it was a while ago, so I can't remember for sure.

Can someone tell me wich playlist I have to choose in order to find some "1 flag CTF" games on Defiant maps?

I played Objective playlist, Prenium playlist, and still never find any "1 flag ctf" on defiant maps...

Ah then I'm not sure. I know what you're saying is true but I have not heard of any of these new achievements unlocking in custom games.

I was getting them on either Team Objective or Premium. I would also recommend one person delete Noble map pack as that will then only focus on Defiant and Anniversary maps.

I'm half-tempted to try a game of 1 Flag CTF on XBL and then play it on Recently Played (or whatever that's called).

i just did it...premium slayer playlist, highlands, 1 Flag CTF...2 of them quit so it was 5 v 3...they didnt touch the flag, we scored twice and guess what...no achievement...hate glitchy achievements

Problems for me too. I just did this in premium battle, condemed 1 flag, no touch for them, and 2 scores for us, no achievement :( This is the first achievement I have had glitch like this.

Just spent the last two hours in Team objective, with another player that had 4 controllers (having 8 controllers between the 2 of us), and having deleted the Noble Map Pack from my HDD and while I saw Condemned as an option plenty of times never did I see it as a 1-flag CTF. I also never saw Uplink or Highlands. These new playlist algorithms are a joke. It's as if 343 has set the matches specifically to make achievement hunting impossible.

This achievement did not unlock for me as well. I think the reason might be that I don't have the Anniversary DLC( no download code); However I did have Halo Anniversary & received the updated 69 achievement count. I played with a 8 man boosting party and was the only one who did not unlock achievement. I hope I don't need to buy this DLC as the 3 defiant achievements are the only ones I'm missing....

Just commenting on how i got the achievement. I had 4 contollers plugged in and i had 4 other people playing with me. It was on Team Objective, 1 flag CTF on Condemned with all DLC downloaded. 1st round i was defending with no-one touching the flag, 2nd round attacking with no-one touching the flag, 3rd round enemy player 'accidentally' picked up the flag then dropped it, then he quit because i wasnt happy :L, 4th round attacking no-one touched the flag. The achievement popped after the announcer said 'Game Over'. Hope this helps in any way.

Does this achievement apply to one round or both rounds of 1 Flag? You don't specify...

They did another playlist update, I'm not really sure which is the best playlist to find these maps.

Yeah, it's basically impossible to get it to happen and to get it on the necessary map.
really frustrating, i've been playing for a while but i honestly don't get the gametype/map combo

Confirmed 22 January 2013 still works if neither team touches the flag on one flag on Condemned
