For this one you need to make sure you have the Ledgends DLC.
To start with make sure you pick a good long range shooter for yourself to use (I used Steve Smith). Now to actually start; to get on top of the roof you need to go to the right of the net and try to walk in between the blue banner and the lamp post. Now it is simply a matter of following directions and having a lot of patience until you finally hit the shot. (Also I'm not sure if it helps but I put the maximum amount of ark on my shot too.)

Just in case it isn't working for you (you probably don't have the right building) here is a video showing the proper building to shoot off of.

BOB002 You can do it with just one controller, and a cpu player. The cpu is irrelevant, they just take up time but you don't need them to really do anything. Just make sure that you are on top of the right building is my only real suggestion. I know when I did it i did it off a smaller building a few times thinking that was the right one and it didn't work.

EMINEM FAN4Lyfe i got it man thanks i was on the right building but sitting down because i went a different way the video helped alot though once you get up there the shot is pretty easy to make

Ninja Scroll Just got it w/ old school Kobe w/ the afro. Tried w/ MJ w/ no success about a half dozen times. It was probably due to the way I released the X button after holding it. The video is a huge help to see it visually done.

ShaneKarma Sick in the video it has German version. The achieve said "Aufsteiger" which translated means "Newly Promoted". Just a random FYI.
