This achievement is Always Prepared worth 10gs.

Mass Effect 3 Always Prepared GoofEffect The Always Prepared achievement in Mass Effect 3 worth 12 pointsObtain two non-customizable suits of armor.

For this achievement to pop, you could either have Pre-ordered Mass Effect 3 from GameStop and have that armor and have the armor you get from playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo. These will pop for ya the first time you access a store. So you will also get this achievement too.

Next is the Blood Dragon Armor which you can purchase at the Hanar Citadel Store. It's stats are 20% Shield Boost, 30% Power Damage, 10% Recharge Speed.

Next is the Collector Armor which you can purchase at the Asari Citadel Store. It's stats are 20% Health Boost, 20% Shield Boost, 20% Shield Regen Time.

Next is the Cerberus Armor which you can purchase at the Volus Citadel Store. It's stats are 20% Health Boost, 10%Shield Boost, 20% Weapon Damage, 10% Ammo Capacity.

Last piece is the Inferno Armor which you can purchase at the Human Citadel Store. It's stats are 30% Power Damage, 30% Recharge Speed.

Gumbeaux Jr Are the citadel shops available on your first visit?
Posted by Gumbeaux Jr on 07 Mar 12 16:44:52
GoofEffect No, only the Spectre Shop after your reinstated.
Posted by GoofEffect on 07 Mar 12 16:47:03
GoofEffect The first Armor set you can purchase is the Inferno which is on the Normandy's Store. Thats after you get the prologue completed, also at which point you can return to the citadel to visit the other shops.

Gumbeaux Jr cool. Thanks for the reply... I got the KoA armor on my first visit, but couldn't find anywhere to buy the other armors. Off to Palaven I guess!

freakinalex I had the GameStop preorder armor and the KoA demo armor and this achievement popped, but it wouldn't pop until I actually bought something. Just pointing that out in case anyone else has an issue.

GoofEffect It didn't pop for me until I actually loaded up a store. But at the same time I bought the special gift for your friend in the hospital.

Shinwasha If you buy, you can save and reload after achievement pops to have credits back.

Epsilon Theta You can get a shop discount when you apply the right upgrade. I am no longer sure where it was obtained but once you have it you can set it at Glyph's terminal.

GoofEffect Yes, There is an upgrade. But I didn't take it since I hardly buy anything in ME3.

Gizmo2k Sounds obvious, but if you have enough money (100,000 or 95,000 after applying the discount bonus) save your game, then you can buy two armours from the two stores right next to each other on the Citadel Presidium Commons and get the achievement and reload your save. This lets you buy better things with your money at these stores :)
