This is THE WORST ARCADE game on XBL! Do not be fooled by the now permanent price of 400 msp. This game doesn't even have the original Ghostbusters as your playable characters so this is no trip down nostalgia lane. This is a really terribly done and not very well thought out twin stick shooter. Your better off playing Zombie Apocalypse or Alien Breed if you want a good top down twin stick.
Gameplay: Not very well thought out at all as there are many faults within. The AI is so god awful if I was playing solo and went down I could basically watch them walk in front of the enemies or boss and just....die. So many senseless game overs because of the terrible AI. All the enemies are faster than you no matter what and they will only slow down to attack. That does not mean that you can easily evade their attacks either, as most will just...hit you...for no reason...and you go down in 1-2 hits maybe 3 if your super lucky. The idea of switching weapon colors was ok but if you weren't shooting the specific color your basically doing NO damage so it made it more frustrating than anything in the end. Car chase scenes were ok but the would NEVER shoot...it was all me (as I did this whole game solo except the 4 people over XBL) and the vehicle would just get damaged so easily.
Graphics: Sub par at best really. Bland atmospheres combined with bad lighting and an unmovable camera make this even worse. No cut scenes instead you are treating to voice acted comic book scenes but I found these overly boring and slow with a stupid and senseless storyline.
Achievements: Not so bad..1 Online MP achievement but this game is best done co-op but since no one plays its a pain doing it solo. If you do the collectables on your first run then you will only have to play once (no difficulty setting) but by the end you will be praying for the game to stop.
Overall: Worst arcade game I've played (and I have completed 125 as of review writing) and I feel like this was a total waste of my money. If you have friends that could play this with it might be better but solo its boring, frustrating, and just plain ugly. Don't even bother with this game unless you are an achievement hunter..and even then..beware!
