Gauntlet...where to begin..I grew up on this game in both Arcade form and in NES form and it is one of my favorites of all time. First off, its loosely taken from the stereotypical 4 classes. Warrior, Elf, Valkyrie, and Wizard venture into a dungeon filled with tons of monsters. This is probably one of the first multiplayer dungeon crawlers that I can remember with the arcade having up to 4 at once playable (this was rare in mine but super fun). This one is based off the arcade version with the decreasing health so finding food to stay alive while trying to reach the next level. This game along with the other Midway games no longer sale but I wish these would come back to the marketplace.

Graphics: This game first came out in 85ish so this is an old game with updated graphics then redone for 360. This is one of the earlier games for the XBL so the graphics especially now are dated but not the worst I've seen.

Gameplay: Your health constantly reduces while you search for the exit to the next and you can replenish it with Food. All the characters are slightly different even beyond the change of the character sprites. All characters have the basic attack which all differ Warrior is Axe, Elf is Arrow, Valkyrie is Sword, and Wizard has Fireball. They each have different attributes including Attack, Defense, Speed, and Magic. Magic is found on each level in blue bottles which can be saved to be used whenever you want (which is a HUGE help). With a huge variety of monsters and monster spawning points you will want to keep on your toes and stay on the move. Make sure to avoid at all costs the "Death" monster as he has tons of HP and could screw you over. You can also shoot in all 8 directions as well as move in them so your open to move and shoot freely as well.

Achievements: Achievements aren't so bad there are a few buggy ones (I'm looking at you character scoreboard achievements!) which have solutions for them but I enjoyed these achievements the hardest/longest one is by far the Game Master (get to level 100 in default settings) takes around 3 hours to do so its a bit of a sit down.

Fun Factor: This game is very fun if your a dungeon crawler fan as it has tons of levels to go through and settings to add a spice of variety with different characters. If you have someone to play with this game is much a lot better than playing solo but it still very fun to play solo though! Decent replayability but does get tedious after going through so many levels.

Overall: This game is great if you own it and I hope they bring this back to the marketplace. Great alone or with friends up to 4 friends this game will bring back nostalgia if you played it years ago or an enjoyable time if you are new to this game. Replay value isn't super high but its there especially if you have people to play this with..its not perfect but its awesome!toast
