Whichever way you choose to take on the destroyer, this is the most helpful tip of all -

If you find yourself very low on health at any point during this battle, jump off the ledge at the back of the area to your death...

If the destroyer kills you, you will re-spawn and he will have FULL health again. If you fall to your death, you will re-spawn and keep the damage you have inflicted upon it.

Sneaky G Wizard I haven't left a strategy on how to actually beat him as I felt this could be done in many different ways; one way will work for some and not for others. This tip though is a life saver for everyone; you could easily get him down to under half health, have a bad moment and end up dead. Then guess who is alive and kicking again!

megaonan Wow that is great strategy, but i did it a bit differently, when he reaches out to the columns with his tentacles i just stand behind it and blasted it with my shotgun. Didnt loose a health point. Died several times before i did this, I was getting really effin angry.

Sneaky G Wizard Glad you like the strategy. There is a lot of diversity in the way you can tackle things in Borderlands, part of the reason I enjoyed it so much and have the sequel! Glad you found your own way of destroying the destroyer!
