"By far the easiest method... Very simple and exceptionally effective strategy to get this achievement finished." -Bunnyhop100

"This was sooooo much faster than the other methods. Fantastic." - The Chuck Chuck

This achievement, along with Deflectomancer, may very likely be your last achievements needed. Before I arrived at my solution for the Slaughtermaster achievement I tried a few different methods:

First, I tried the Chronozoa method with the Mind Maze deck. What a snooze. Can you say 20 minute upkeeps?
Second, I tried the Going Berserk challenge method, but it got very repetetive.
Third, I tried the Overwhelming Stampede method with the Hunter's Strength deck when I finally realized there was a much easier and faster way.

Behold, the terrifying Vigorous Master of the Wild Hunt Combo!

For this combo, you'll need to use the Hunter's Strength deck and the following:
1. Master of the Wild Hunt
2. Vigor
3. Turn off simplified targeting in the advanced options (all the way to the right) under settings

Master of the Wild Hunt is the first card you'll unlock naturally as you win with the Hunter's Strength deck. To get Vigor, you'll need to enter in promo codes under the 'Extras' menu. These are:

GKSNDR
DWNNDR
FTHPTH
TRCKSC
PRSTTT
RSNGSN
XBXBDZ
PXPRMD
MGCCTN
JRHPRD

The combo works like this: Get both Vigor and Master of the Wild Hunt onto the battlefield. With simplified targeting turned off, you can have your Master of the Wild Hunt target one of your own creatures (if you don't need to kill an enemy creature). Just target the highest power creature you have except for Vigor. Vigor prevents all the damage to your creatures and instead adds +1/+1 counters. It really doesn't take a long time to get a couple HUGE creatures. The number of +1/+1 counters on your creatures, and thus the damage you deal, increases exponentially. You should get the achievement in no time. If you don't have the necessary cards in your opening hand you can always restart the duel.

I can also confirm that damage to enemy creatures counts towards the achievement.

Now craft your deck how you please, but you at least need Master of the Wild Hunt and Vigor. Some other cards that will help you out:

Nature's Lore: Get your cards out quicker and increase the chance you'll draw a combo card
Green Sun's Zenith: Use it to grab Master of the Wild Hunt or Vigor (promo unlock)
Fauna Shaman: Same as above (promo unlock)
Protean Hulk: Same as above (promo unlock)
Overwhelming Stampede: Can be used to finish the game in a final massive attack, each creature getting +X/+X where X is the greatest power among creatures you control (normal unlock)
Honorable mentions: Bramblecrush, Primeval Bounty, Rampaging Baloth, Prey Upon, Revive, Eternal Witness, and Hunt the Weak

If you throw some other small creatures and a few fatties you'll have yourself a really good deck. For your opponent you could choose pretty much anyone, but you might want to stay away from decks with creature control/removal. I'd think a majority of the encounters would be easy enough (I've beaten the Zombies, Humans, Mercenaries, and several other encounters with this deck). When I got the achievement I was actually fighting against Garruk in the Revenge campaign. The Chuck Chuck recommends Zendikar plane's first encounter, "The Teeth of Akoum."

I hope that helps! If you guys want I can post my deck-list. Leave questions, comments, and suggestions below. Let me know if this method got the achievement for you! ^_^
Bunnyhop100 By far the easiest method. With this in 1 try I did a 10,000 damage attack versus my opponent. Had I used overwhelming stampede it would have been several hundred thousand.

Very simple and exceptionally effective strategy to get this achievement finished

The Chuck Chuck This was sooooo much faster than the other methods. Fantastic. As far as opponents go, I found the Zendikar plane's first encounter, "The Teeth of Akoum," to work best for me. The opponent has virtually no creatures, no spells whatsoever, and you can fly through turn phases.

Snowed One would assume that dealing damage to your own creature does indeed count. However, you imply that that might be relevant with your solution and it's not. Vigor prevents damage to your creatures, which means the damage is never dealt in the first place and can't contribute to the achievement.

Xtowers That's true. Thanks for pointing that out.
