With the low number of players still active in this game, I recommend taking a boosting partner, and just don't have him shoot on you. You can improve your chances at matchmaking by adjusting the maximum DNF% parameter when you set up the match to the lowest category that he will fall into.
I also recommend plugging in a second controller and going for the Playing as a Team Achievement and shoot like crazy to earn the Seeing lots of Rubber Achievement. This way you can knock all three off at once. (You can also take shots with the second controller, as the Achievement records the total shots for your team, not which player took them.)
Alternatively, having neither player trying to score can send the game to a scoreless shootout, setting up the potential for the Shootout Mastery Achievement in the same game. If anyone can confirm if both players still get the shutout if it goes into a shootout, that would be great. |
