You can keep the sound on during the song as long as you turn it down before the end, so make sure you know where you're approaching the end of the song.

I was struggling to do this even on the first song (I suck at expert lol) until I read this and just disabled all the sound options just before the end of the song.

Ben Reynolds @adam2409, thanks. Great solution and made this much easier for someone like myself that isn't brilliant at GH!

:@COODA I, a solution that gives you an easy way to gain an achievement is bad because you're too stupid/lazy to realise that the sound options are in a similar place as they are in most games: Pause --> Options --> Set Audio.
