This one is super simple to do in the first "Dungeon", Jack of Dust, and the early achievement will teach you about your best friend in the combat portions of this game, cn_A, which is your roll. Using a pseudo-Arkham system, pummel on your foes and roll away from danger in quick succession in three separate combat encounters. The encounters DO NOT have to be consecutive and you MUST be on the """medium""" difficulty or higher, won't pop on Easy.

This can be made easier using your other best friend, cn_Y, your block. However, you cannot block without a shield, and the indicators for enemy attacks will also not appear. The game is merciful in granting you the "Mister Lionel" encounter (it was my second encounter card), which if you reply with "Ask Him What He Needs", will grant you a shield.

I also suggest stealing the ships log and trying to get caught in the act if you get the Smuggler Wharf card as this will cause another fight.

Skeptical MarioTaking damage outside of combat will also reset your progress. -_- I'm having a surprisingly hard time getting this.

Skeptical MarioUpdate - something about this achievement must be buggy, because I've now completed three combats on both story and endless mode without my life total changing from 100, and not gotten the achievement.

iMaginaryyI can confirm it does NOT have to be in a row. You can defeat 2 encounters without taking damage, take damage in an encounter, then complete the 3rd without taking damage. I fought 3 bandits no damage, 2 bandits no damage, 4 rat men where one of the projectiles hit me, and then 2 skeletons no damage.

mcnuggestsI can not confirm the above comment as I have played more than 3 combats without losing health. I played the Jack of Scales (2nd row deck). I made sure I didn't take any damage DURING combat sequences, completed the boss battle without taking damage and still no achievement.

Scratch all of the above I said. I found what's wrong. The game's difficulty is standard set to Easy, you need to set it to Medium (Adventurers) to unlock this! When I set it to Adventurer I unlocked it after 4 battles. 1 battle I did not take damage, the 2nd I took damage and 3 and 4 no damage = unlocked! This goes for the other achievements as well (have more than 200 gold etc)
