General hints and tips

The single player should be done as soon as possible. Given that the single player is not as robust as the online experience, I would recommend doing at least a stage a night until completion. That way the single player gets taken care of and will allow you to focus on the multiplayer side.

Both Co-Op and the multiplayer is where most of your time is going to go if you are trying for all the achievements.

- The biggest learning curve comes in the aircraft. You should be familiar with helicopters from Co-Op, but the jets are a new breed. You will spend most of your first flights taking off and then immediately crashing. What worked for me was changing the control scheme and then it clicked. If you are trying to power level to Lvl 45, I recommend that you stay out of the jets. They can be fun, but you will earn more points on the ground.

- If you can find a squad of teammates that communicate, not only will you rack up the wins, but will make for some gaming nirvana. Don't concentrate on your kill/death ratio. Instead, put your focus on getting points.

- The most useful class is the engineer, as they can deal with all vehicles effectively and have some of the best rifles to boot. Each class has different weapons. The best is opinion based, so try them out and see what works for you.

After you use the rocket launcher to kill the sniper, you will move to a corner of the building and protect the medic as he pulls out with the wounded. Simply kill all the enemies until the doc says "many thanks". If the achievement does not pop, start to kill the wave of enemies that rush your building until it does.

At the end of a run down a trench you will come to an open area. A yellow car will be on the edge to your right. Make sure your flashlight is off and crouch walk to it. Spam the 'B' button when you get to it to crush the men below.

You will enter a red school bus and get hit with a RPG. After this occurs you will see enemies outside and faintly in the distance. DON'T LEAVE THE BUS! Continue to shoot and kill enemies, until the achievement unlocks. I found it easier to head to the front of the bus to get the guy that is the farthest distance. Look for the flashlight.

4. Going Hunting

Don't get hit with a missile, and don't miss a missile hit. The easiest way is to not use missiles when trying to shoot down the aircraft. It will take longer, but I got it on the first try this way, even on hard difficulty.

Play on easy and focus on moving forward. As soon as you step off the stairs, your timer starts. Kill as you need to and run to the cut scene as fast as you can. You should get this first or second try.

7. Thunder Run

The first group of tanks on your right side early in the stage will let you knock this out. If you miss one or two, there will be more tanks later in the stage.

At the beginning of the stage, you will have a sniper rifle with your targets being the four lights lower and to your right. Simply shoot out all four lights with four shots. Make sure you hold your breath and anticipate the sway.

Easiest location is when you reach RV Bravo. Right hand side of the street will be two enemies conveniently lined up.

10. Rock and a hard place

After you get ambushed, melee an enemy. I found it easier to rush up the right side and pop the achievement. I died, but then completed the stage as normal.

Take down the jet in one attempt in Rock And A Hard Place

When the airplane starts to attack, take cover as you make your way to the launcher. Take note of which side the airplane will be attacking from. Take your cue to take cover when the person you're following does.

Eventually you will reach a section where you will have to take a lower route into a red lit room. Select the a weapon of choice(I went with M27). Just don't use a shotgun. Clear each room individually and take your time. There a total of twelve targets. You don't have to hit the moving target at the end.

This is the series of quick time events and gameplay to end off the single player game. The buttons you have to spam are always the same so watch the movie and pause just after the next event so you know what button is coming up. If you fail, reload the checkpoint. Play on easy difficulty. Behind you there will be 5 humvees and all 5 must make it until the end. If the radio says "vehicle down", restart. Work together with your teammate and concentrate on the tanks that appear.

Fire from the sky

Keep moving, but level so your gunner can take out targets. Back off if you need your health to come back. Make sure both you and your teammate are marking targets. This is a good level to come back to if you want to practice helicopter flight for online play.

Exfiltration

Have one person give the count 3,2,1,FIRE for each time 2 have to be taken down. The timing has to be exact. At the end it is also easier for one person to stay on the steps and line up a person and a camera with one shot.

Hit and Run

Reach the garage without going into man-down state in Hit and Run

Don't get into a position where your partner has to revive you. Take your time, use the shotgun and pick up enemy weapons. When you reach the door to the garage, put your claymore at the door and defend against the assault. An easy way is to go stay next to the ammo crate and spam grenades.

Drop em like liquid

Reach and save the hostages without alerting any enemies in Drop 'em Like Liquid

• Unlocked by 6,766 tracked gamers (9% - TA Ratio = 3.40) 78,421

I would recommend to watch the below video and keep running through the stage until you have memorized it. The best tip I can add is to have one person give the count (3,2,1,FIRE) and make sure the count is given the same way each time.

The tricky part for most people will come when you get to the middle section where a sniper is found. Make sure your team takes out the left group (near the hotel sign). Then relocate to the right near the dumpsters and take out the right group (low near the waterline). Finally, relocate once again to the center and take out the final group (in the back stairs going down). I would leave the sniper to the end as he never affected anything.

The eleventh Hour

Disarm the bomb in under 20 seconds in The Eleventh Hour

This is an amazingly easy achievement. Put the level on easy difficulty and use the subway cars to get to the bomb. It ddoesn't matter who does the disarming, as both people will get the achievement. Take your time with the disarm, but If you mess up the quicktime disarm, reload. The disarm is always the same order: A - LB - RB - RT - RS -B - A - LB - RB - RS

Lock 'n' Load61 (30)

Unlock all unique co-op weapons

• Unlocked by 19,228 tracked gamers (25% - TA Ratio = 2.02) 78,421

You can check this via MY SOLDIER > STATS & PROGRESSION for Co-op. This is the grind, but not as bad since the Karkand update. Keep playing stages until you have accumulated enough points to unlock all the weapons. You will likely have to play though 'Drop em like Liquid' several times, but aside from that I would recommend 'Fire from the Sky' to get the helicopter skills up for online play.

Most Valuable Player40 (30)

Simply place 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall in points between both teams to get these achievements. Keep in mind that this is between both teams so it can come from the losing team as well. This will come in time when trying to reach rank 45.

Infantry Efficiency45 (30)

Obtain all 4 weapon efficiency ribbons

• Unlocked by 34,636 tracked gamers (44% - TA Ratio = 1.50) 78,421

Get 7 kills with each of the following weapon groups. Each ribbon can be achieved in separate games. The weapons are Assault Rifles (assault class), Sniper Rifle (recon class), Light Machine Gun (support class), and Carbine Rifles (engineer class).

This does not have to be done in one life but does have to be in one game.

Support Efficiency52 (30)

Obtain all 4 support efficiency ribbons

• Unlocked by 26,514 tracked gamers (34% - TA Ratio = 1.72) 78,421

Simply earn one of each of the support related ribbons. These all do not have to be in one life, or even one game. You can earn one different ribbon per game if need be.

Assault - Five revives in one match. Close quarter games like Metro or Seine Crossing will provide plenty of opportunities. Stick with your teammates in the rear and use your paddles on them when they fall.

Engineer - Seven Repairs in one match. Hop in a MBT (big tank) as a passenger. When the tank starts to come under fire, hop out and go around to the rear of the tank. Use your torch on the tank as it starts to take damage. Keep in mind it is seven repairs in one match so don't worry if you die.

Support - Seven resupplies in one match. Throw your ammo box at the feet of your teammates and as they use ammo, it will automatically replenish them. The quickest way is to put it near Recon as they tend to not move much. This is easy and you make friends too!

Recon - Five motion sensor assists in one match. Use either your T-UGS or MAV to mark enemies and when that marked person dies, you get the sensor assist. The T-UGS is automatic and just needs to be set near firefights. The MAV can fly overhead and marks enemies by hitting the back button. Remember, you mark them AND they have to be killed to get the assist.

Vehicle Warfare56 (30)

Obtain all 3 vehicle warfare ribbons

Get six kills in one match with each of the vehicle groups. This is in one match not one life. There are three ribbons in total.

1. Armored warfare for heavy and light tanks. Being an engineer with repair tool will help. Use Autoloader initially in your loadouts.

2. Air warfare for jets and helicopters you pilot. It is a combination of both aircraft, so if you get shot down in a jet, hop in an attack helicopter to continue if need be. Earning this one can be frustrating, until you start to unlock some of the higher loadouts, especially flares and missiles. As a jet, hunt helicopters and tanks with your machine gun. Keep at it until you start to unlock later loadout perks and this will get progressively easier. Also, keep in mind you can change your controls if you are having issue with that.

3. Transport warfare for transport vehicles, boats you gun for and door gunner for transport helicopters. You wont get many kills from the boat and the door gunner is dependant on how good the pilot is. The way I earned this early on was to capture a point that had a Humvee or similar vehicle spawn at it. After capturing the flag, hop in the vehicle and orientate the weapon at a likely avenue of approach. Then don't move. You will be surprised at how many people will run right up to you in an effort to capture that flag.

Obtain one of each ribbon in the game

Check MY SOLDIER > STATS > RIBBONS to see which you are missing. Place your cursor over a darkened ribbon to see what the requirements are. Most will come naturally over the course of game-play. You will need 1 of each of the ribbons listed below. The hardest ones I've found are Nemesis, Squad wipe, M-COM attacker, and hand gun ribbons so you may want to keep a focus on these.

These Achievements require the 'Back to Karkand' DLC that was included with the Limited Edition or downloaded for 1200 MSP from Xbox Live.

Complete Warrior65 (30)

Get a kill with the following weapons in a single life: Assault Rifle, Jet, Tank

• Unlocked by 9,943 tracked gamers (35% - TA Ratio = 2.18) 28,263

This has to be done in one life. Spawn as an Assault and use a jet from the beginning of the match. The easiest kill is either a helicopter or troops running out in the open. Having a teammate mark targets will help. When you get your kill, fly back to your base and jump out. Use your parachute to float down into a MBT (heavy tank) and go get your second kill. Now for the hard part. Get out of your tank and get a kill with your Assault rifle. Either camp one of the points or stay in the tank until you see a kill that you can pick up. Jump out of the tank and kill before someone else does. An assist does not count!

Gunslinger44 (20)

Get 10 kills with each of the ten Back to Karkand weapons

• Unlocked by 9,904 tracked gamers (35% - TA Ratio = 2.18) 28,263

Check MY SOLIDER > ASSIGNMENTS to see which weapons are left to unlock. Use each weapon you unlock for 10 kills. I would recommend not using the weapons until you have all of them unlocked so you don't try to remember which weapons you still need kills with.

Third Tour36 (20)

Get a kill with each of the following vehicles: the BTR-90, DPV and F-35.

This does not have to be in one life or even the same match. The video below does a great job of explaining it and showing you what every vehicle looks like. The F35 is the most frustrating of the three.

Get a kill with the skid loader

You have to use the skid loader to run someone over. The skid loader is on Wake Island and has no offensive weapons. I had to drive it to the edge of a rise of a hill and wait until enemies got close enough to run over. Can be irritating when they shoot you out of the vehicle but not too bad.

Take a swim in the Oman Hotel swimming pool

• Unlocked by 27,116 tracked gamers (96% - TA Ratio = 1.32) 28,263

Look for the red hotel sign on the corner of the building. Plenty of good videos in the solutions, but the one I used is below. I used a transport helicopter to make it even easier to find from the air.
