In Online mode, join a lobby created by another player.
* Xbox Live - Quick Match or Custom Match or Create Match. Just start a race to unlock:
Begin a Special Stage in any online game mode.
* Xbox Live - Quick Match or Custom Match or Create Match. Just finish a race to unlock:
Complete an Online - Single Stage match.
* Xbox Live - Quick Match or Custom Match or Create Match. Win 5 special stages to unlock (Can be done in public or private matches which means you can boost this with a friend if you're not a winning type):
Complete 5 valid Special Stages in first position in any online game mode.
* Xbox Live - Quick Match or Custom Match or Create Match. The last 3 achievements unlock at level 2 (350 XP), level 10 (15750 XP) and level 20 (66500 XP) in online rankings. You see your level in the online menu. If you want to check your XP go to Leaderboards - Player Rankings.
You get XP:
* Finishing position (depends on the number of players in the lobby)
* Green sectors
* Time gap between first en second (only for the winning player)
* Championship bonus
* Championship finishing position bonus (depends on the number of players in the lobby)
Reach level 2 in your Hall of Fame Online Ranking.
Reach level 10 in your Online Ranking.
Reach level 20 in your Online Ranking.
