3. Story walkthrough

Welcome to your own little kingdom!

1. STORY

First off, I will start with campaign mode which can be played either online or offline. If you get lost, need more info, or just prefer to watch instead of read I've added a few videos.

At the start of the game you get introduced to your own little kingdom by your fellow followers, called keflings. You will learn the mechanics of the game itself and can head for your first little achievement. Simply pick up a kefling and place them on either a rock or a tree. This is how you "train" a kefling and shortly after you place them, they will start working and you will get the following achievement:

Now that you set your workers and started gathering your first materials it's time to do something different; kick your keflings and repeat that 30 times. Once you reach 30 this achievement will unlock:

Big Bully18 (15)

Secret

• Unlocked by 18,018 tracked gamers (69% - TA Ratio = 1.20) 25,940

The first blueprint you will unlock is the lumbermill blueprint. This will happen in your first 15-20 minutes of campaign play so no worries that you might miss it, just be patient.

Build a lumbermill (Single Player)

• Unlocked by 25,370 tracked gamers (98% - TA Ratio = 1.01) 25,940

Now your next step will be to build a lot of buildings until you are able to build the contractors building. This will be one of your first 8 square buildings and once it is built you will unlock your next achievement.

Think Big10 (10)

Build a building made of more than 8 pieces (Single Player)

• Unlocked by 24,621 tracked gamers (95% - TA Ratio = 1.03) 25,940

Now gather blueprints as they come and always aim for the next building to unlock a new one. After you reach the 25 blueprint mark you should unlock the following achievement:

Frank Lloyd29 (25)

Unlock 25 blueprints (Single Player)

• Unlocked by 19,544 tracked gamers (75% - TA Ratio = 1.15) 25,940

Your goal on the blueprints plan should be the Cathedral so plan and build your way up until you reach the option to build a Cathedral. You should have to build a Keep and a Factory to get the blueprint for the Cathedral. After you built the Cathedral you should get the following achievement:

Master Builder34 (25)

Build a cathedral (Single Player)

• Unlocked by 14,302 tracked gamers (55% - TA Ratio = 1.35) 25,940

Now you will try to accumulate each hat possible for your keflings. The hats show which profession the kefling has so it's not hard to see which are new. After you got your final one, you will get the following achievement (Warning: This sometimes glitches and you'll need to request your Kefling artist to repaint a building for this to unlock):

Haberdasher27 (20)

Encounter every possible Kefling hat (Single Player)

• Unlocked by 14,655 tracked gamers (56% - TA Ratio = 1.33) 25,940

Since you have already built a lot of houses you shouldn't be too far off to get 30 kefling residents. Simply accumulate enough love and build enough houses to get more keflings. After you have number 30, the following achievement will unlock:

Like Rabbits19 (15)

Reach a total Kefling population of 30 (Single Player)

• Unlocked by 15,726 tracked gamers (61% - TA Ratio = 1.28) 25,940

You have to build all the buildings in the blueprint tree to get one of the last story achievements; building the Castle. After you've built the Castle, with it's three connected parts (using castle walls), you will get the following achievement:

King54 (40)

Finish a complete castle with three connected parts (Single Player)

• Unlocked by 14,351 tracked gamers (55% - TA Ratio = 1.34) 25,940

The last campaign achievement will be to build a colossus. Simply place 4 sculptures, built by the sculpto,r in 2x2 squares and as soon as you place the 4th bust you will get the corresponding achievement:

Secret

• Unlocked by 12,223 tracked gamers (47% - TA Ratio = 1.46) 25,940

Now you have finally finished the single player campaign and all that is left is the online. Here is a video all of the above story achievements.

2.ONLINE

The online part of this game might take some time and I can assure you, you will need to ask friends on your friends list or random people to help you out on these. Depending on how lucky you get, it can take around 1-5 hours to finally get it done.

So we start with the easier one. Simply join as many multiplayer games as you possibly can. Every single flag you see in the now entered kingdom will count towards the 20 flags (if the person already has 20 you will get the achievement right away). It also works if you let 20 other players build their flag in your kingdom. If you can manage to get 20 flags in your kingdom you will also get the achievement for the 10 different flags in your kingdom. I can tell it's really hard to get 10 players for this but if you find kind enough people you will get this in no time.

Collect 10 unique player banners from other giants during Xbox LIVE play
