3. Story walkthrough

Welcome To Honolulu!

Alright, So first of all - just a reminder as to how this games ranking system works. It works based on the achievement score of the achievements that you have unlocked. The ranks are displayed below as well as the gamerscore required towards the next rank.

Remember as you continue to rank up, you will unlock more races as well as more cars to purchase when it comes to unlocking the achievements. Onto the achievements now. This part of the walkthrough will focus mainly on the racing, missions, challenges and multiplayer side to this game.

Now then, Multiplayer. This game doesnt have many multiplayer achievements.

MULTIPLAYER VIC. - LEVEL 121 (10)

Take 3 victories in multiplayer races. Only RANKED MATCHES are counted.

MULTIPLAYER VIC. - LEVEL 246 (20)

Take 15 victories in multiplayer races. Only RANKED MATCHES are counted.

• Unlocked by 4,474 tracked gamers (19% - TA Ratio = 2.32) 23,985

MULTIPLAYER VIC. - LEVEL 373 (30)

Take 30 victories in multiplayer races. Only RANKED MATCHES are counted.

• Unlocked by 4,080 tracked gamers (17% - TA Ratio = 2.42) 23,985

The achievements above require you to complete 30 ranked multiplayer races. These races can be won with two racers or more and will unlock as you progress towards the 30 mark. You can check your progress towards this achievement using the info bar in your house. The multiplayer challenges are the orange markers on your map and I would recommend using the "Near Future" race that is located near the north western corner of the island towards the eastern end of the airport. This race is a 1 mile drag with no traffic making it the easiest race to do for this achievement.

Next on the agenda of multiplayer achievements are the drive in challenges. These are rather simple to get (if someone actually races and loses the race that you design), how you design it is up to you. I have no tips for these challenges presonally apart from to do a speed challenge and place one camera where you speed will be checked (right near the start line also) - reverse back a bit and then go through it, make sure you use a car that nobody else uses. Do this 3 times and win 2/3 of the challenges will unlock you the achievements below.

Onto the last two parts of the multiplayer, the club challenges. To unlock these you first need to either join a club or create a club which requires 3 other members including yourself. After creating the club you need to challenge another club to a race and win three times to finish off the multiplayer achievements!

Buy or sell a vehicle from/to another member on TRADE.

Just to finish this of, whilst driving around you may have encountered AI drivers in freeroam. If you approach them 5 times and challenge them to an instant race, as well as win, you will unlock the achievement below.

Onto the races, missions and challenges. There are a wide selection of each to do which all have certain requirements such as a certain rank, a certain car class, a certain speed or even a specific car. Now then, my highest recommendation for this is to use the list of cars in the next page to help you identify which car would be perfect to help you win your race/challenge - also remember that you can tune this car using the car tune shops which are shown on the map on the previous page to level 3 making it faster then the other cars giving you a higher advantage. If your doing missions, regardless or not to being timed take your time and try not to make silly mistakes as you notice eventually that they do bite back towards the end of it.
