3. Story walkthrough
To begin the game, select 'Campaign' from the title screen and choose 'New Game'. The game is not that difficult, especially when you begin earning money to purchase many of the upgrades, so choose whichever difficulty you think will be most enjoyable. If you want to complete the game as quickly as possible, select 'Casual'. The difficulty can be changed at any time by pressing Start and selecting 'Difficulty' from the pause menu. This walkthrough will guide you through the game as if you are playing on Casual difficulty. On harder difficulties, you are generally faced with more enemies with better accuracy and more health, whilst you are more susceptible to damage.
The story walkthrough will tell you the basics to each mission. This also includes story-related activities. All rewards that can be gained through the missions are also shown. Several of the missions allow you to make a decision. In these cases, the rewards for each decision are shown clearly. Whilst respect is rewarded for almost all missions, this is not shown in the walkthrough as it is difficult to quantify unless stated, as with Assassinations and Vehicle Thefts.
Note that at the end of Act 1, in the mission 'The Belgian Problem', the two choices each give you an achievement. In order to obtain both achievements without starting a new save, you should create a save before the mission (or within the mission). Once you have obtained one of the two achievements, load the save and obtain the other achievement.
When Good Heists Go Bad
The game begins with a Star Wars styled introduction to Stilwater, the Third Street Saints and the happenings since the previous game. After the following cut-scenes, you will be thrown straight into a bank heist with Johnny Gat, Shaundi and actor, Josh Birk. You have unlimited ammo during this mission. Kill the guards and follow the directions in search of the vault. An explosive is used to blow a hole in the building, before you are ambushed by more guards. You must defend yourself by killing the guards and shooting at the attack chopper when it appears.
Pierce appears with another helicopter to pick up the vault. Shaundi and Gat stay behind, whilst your character stands on the vault to shoot off guards. Through the next few sequences of the mission, try to clear the guards as much as you can, but focus your fire on the attack chopper when it appears. You may also want to destroy the other helicopters where possible, to stop them dropping off reinforcements. There is no HUD throughout this part of the mission, and you actually have infinite health here. Destroy the attack chopper for another cut-scene and your first story-related achievement, "Dead Presidents".

I'm Free - Free Falling
Before the next mission, you are able to build your character. Feel free to customise your character as much as you wish. When you are happy with your character, select 'Start Game'.
In the next few scenes, you meet the leader of the Syndicate, Phillipe Loren, and his two side-kicks, Viola and Kiki DeWynter, in a jet. Gat separates from Shaundi and yourself, attempting to take control of the aircraft. Follow the on-screen tutorial to Melee Combat to defeat a few enemies. One of the guards has a gun, which you should use to take down the following enemies. Aim for headshots to clear them out quickly, before advancing to the parachute.
Before Shaundi is equipped, you and her are forced out of the plane. You are instructed to catch Shaundi. To do this, avoid the rubble as much as possible and kill the enemies as and when they appear. Once you catch Shaundi, there is a small cut-scene, before you must shoot through the windows of the jet in front of you. After this, there is another freefall section, where you must, again, catch Shaundi and kill off enemies. In both of these freefall sections, you can continue to fall forever, and you have infinite ammo once more. Catch Shaundi to activate a cut-scene showing the demise of the Saints. You will also be rewarded with your first reward and your second story-related acheivement; "The Welcome Wagon" achievement.
Complete 'I'm Free - Free Falling'.
We're Going To Need Guns
You are now in Steelport with Shaundi. Follow the marker to the vehicle ahead of you and use Y (hijack) or LB+Y (quick hijack) to enter the vehicle. As there is an achievement for doing so, you should try to quick hijack as much as possible. Shaundi tells you to use the Map on your phone to give directions to the nearest Friendly Fire. Select the store and then follow the GPS directions. When you enter Friendly Fire, you are told to upgrade your weapons, but simply buying ammo for your 45 Shephard should do for now. Buy what you can and then exit.
Follow the GPS to the Guard Armory. As you might expect, the armory is heavily guarded. Kill the enemies with headshots where possible, and work your way towards the armory. Once you have cleared the inside, you have access to more weapons, including the AS3 Ultimax Shotgun, which will be very useful in next section of the mission, and some flashbangs.
After clearing a few waves of enemies, a cut-scene shows Pierce on his way. However, there are many tanks on their way. Pick up the Reaper Drone and use it to destroy tanks and other vehicles. You can either use RT to dumb-fire a missile, or LT to guide a missile. Destroy all of the tanks to clear the way for Pierce. When told to, follow the marker to his chopper.
Once you have boarded Pierce's chopper, you must protect the bomb that you are now carrying by destroying the enemy choppers. You have unlimited rifle ammo during this part of the mission. The chopper is on rails. As long as it is not destroyed before reaching Shaundi's Ex's Apartment, you will complete the mission. Upon completing the mission, you will have access to your first crib in the game. You will also have access to the 'Saintsbook', which gives you information on Assassinations, Vehicle Thefts, Challenges, and 'Upgrades'; all of which can be found on your cell phone. This is also the first point in the game where you have access to any downloadable content that you may have downloaded.
Crib: Shaundi's Ex's Apartment (Shaundi's Loft).
Weapon: Reaper Drone.
As you now have access to the Upgrades menu, you should purchase any upgrade that you can afford for the "A Better Person" achievement. Upgrades that require you to be respect level 2 include 'Notoriety - Morningstar' ($2,000), 'Sprint - Increase' ($5,500), 'Damage - Bullet' ($1,500), 'Ammo - Pistol' ($1,750) and 'Homie - Vehicle Delivery' ($1,000). Purchase whichever you may feel will be the most useful.
Buy your first Upgrade from the Upgrade Store.
Steelport Here I Am
Start this mission by accessing your Cell Phone and selecting 'Missions'. Pierce wants to drive around Steelport with you to see what the Saints can control. Drive to Sunset Park to meet Pierce, and then follow his instructions. He will first tell you to drive to a Rim Jobs to improve your vehicle. Drive into the garage and buy any upgrade. Changing the colour of part of the vehicle may be the cheapest. Once you have done that, resume the game and drive to a Planet Saints. Enjoy the singing and then enter the store to buy some new clothes.
Resume the game once more and you will be faced with several Morningstar and a brute. If you are in possession of a shotgun, a rifle or any explosives, use them on the brute to take him down. When he has been damaged enough, he will fall to the ground. Run to him and press Y to finish him off. Once the brute is down, feel free to flee the scene. Drive to your safehouse to finish the mission.
Pierce has been looking for a new crib for the Saints. Drive to the Airport to begin the mission. After a short cut-scene, you are told to jump out of the chopper and parachute into the penthouse. Land in the swimming pool for minimal damage. You are told how to take human shields. Walk towards the target and hold Y to grab the lieutenant. Once you have gained the code, you can kill the lieutenant by either shooting him, throwing him or instantly killing him by pressing RS. Now make your way to the storage room. On your way, you must use grenades (RB) to destroy the barrier. Call the elevator to call in the rest of the Saints. Guard the elevator whilst you wait. Now return upstairs and clear out the Morningstar.
Once you have cleared the penthouse, you are informed that the building is rigged. Get into the Oppressor and follow the helicopter. Once the lieutenant lands, you should jump out and parachute down. You have a set amount of time to get to the leiutenant to interrogate him. Make your way towards him and grab him (Y). After he gives you the information you need, quick-kill him with RS to end the mission. You will be rewarded with the "Opulence, You Has It" achievement.
Crib - Saints Penthouse.
This is the first of the story-related activities. Go to the penthouse of the Saints HQ to begin the activity. At the start of the activity, you are sitting on the side of a helicopter with an Annihilator with unlimited ammo. You must shoot the Syndicate's vehicles to protect Pierce. Try to not to aim too close to Pierce, as you can damage his vehicle. Most of the vehicles will be easy to shoot. Try to aim in front of them to kill them quickly. There will also be a couple of road blocks, which you can eliminate by shooting directly in the centre.
After the two road-blocks, the chopper carrying you lands on top of a building. The second part of this activity involves you sniping enemies from afar. You have unlimited ammo on your McManus 2015. You can either shoot the cars multiple times to get them to explode, or wait for the vehicles to park and take out the enemies one by one. Make sure to reload after each wave. Once Pierce reaches his destination, the mission ends. Each completed mission will reward you with some money and an increase in district control, which in turn increases your hourly city income.
Pierce has yet another story-related activity for you next. Meet him at the designated location to start the activity. Pierce will be driving to two different locations to sell various Saints merchandise, whilst you protect his vehicle from Morningstar and the police. You have unlimited ammo for your Shephard 45, so try to use that as much as you can. Aim for the driver of the other vehicles to take them out quickly. At each stop, you might want to get out of the vehicle to eliminate those around you. Occasionally, the buyer doesn't pay up, so you must kill them. You may also be faced with Morningstar specialists, sniping you from helicopters. Where possible, aim for headshots to take out the snipers. Once Pierce has been to both locations, you must protect him whilst he drives home, which subsequently ends the mission.
Takeover The City
In this mission, Pierce will take you around parts of the city, telling you to buy various stores and properties, whilst also eliminating a couple of gang operations and finding your first collectible. Meet Pierce at 'Friendly Fire' in Loren Square to buy that store for just $100. After purchasing 'Friendly Fire', Pierce gives your directions to a sex doll. This is one of many collectibles around Steelport. You should collect them as you see them, but it is much easier to focus on them later, when you have the collectible upgrade. You should now head to the Havemayer Estates, buying it for $100.
After purchasing the estates, Pierce will inform you of the first Gang Operation location. There are 32 of these in the city, and they can be done at any time. To take control of the location, simply eliminate all marked gang members. Once you have eliminated the first Gang Operation, get back into a car and follow pierce's directions to the next Gang Operation. Eliminate them and then head to the 'Friendly Fire' that you bought previously. Entering a store or crib that you own will eliminate the notoriety level. Once you enter the store, the mission will end.
This mission is another of Pierce's story-related activities. Drive to the location to begin the activity. You must do $125,000 of damage before the timer runs out. You can increase the damage points by maintaining a combo. This can be done by destroying many things within a short period of time. You should also focus on destroying the marked vehicles and gang-members for bonus points. If your tank gets too damaged, there are places to go to repair your vehicle.
Pierce has yet another storty-related activity for you now. You must take part in a gameshow where you kill mascots and evade traps to earn money. You must earn $1,000 before the time runs out. There are various weapon drops and bonuses that you can earn by shooting targets, but you should focus on shooting the mascots and evading the traps. Once you pass the $1,000, the exit will open. Make your way to the exit to complete the activity.

Homie: Pierce Washington.
We've Only Just Begun
Pierce wants to meet you at the Broken Shillelagh, so drive there first. This is barely a mission. You meet with Pierce for a cut-scene, and then are rewarded with the "We're Takin' Over" achievement.

Hit The Powder Room
Go to powder, a place owned by the Morningstar, to meet Shaundi and Pierce. Enter the warehouse through the back after eliminating enemies. Once inside, find a way upstairs. There are Morningstar specialist snipers inside, so be sure to take them out quickly with headshots. In the next room, there is a brute with a minigun. Take him out using explosives and/or your shotgun (if you have one), and then make your way upstairs to the manager's office. There are many more enemies up here, so take them out one by one to clear a path. As you make your way to the office, you will be attacked from behind, so be aware. Once you are there, you must protect Shaundi whilst she hacks the computer. The mission ends as soon as Shaundi has completed her task.
WARNING: YOU SHOULD CREATE A NEW SAVE NOW, AS THERE IS A MISSABLE ACHIEVEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THE NEXT MISSION
The Belgian Problem
As the warning above states, there is a missable achievement associated with this mission. The mission will end with two choices; both of which have a related achievement.
Start the mission by heading to the Saints HQ to meet Pierce and Shaundi. Drive to the Syn Tower and park in the Docks in the alley. Eliminate all of the guards. Once again, watch out for the specialist snipers and another brute. After you have cleared the loading dock, the delivery is made. Arm the bomb. You now have 16 minutes to finish the mission, but that should be more than enough time, especially on Casual difficulty.
Once you have armed the bomb, head for the factory by using the elevator. The elevator stops half way, so you must use the stairs for the remainder of the mission. In the next room, there is another brute, this time carrying a flamethrower. Try not to get too close to him, and use headshots and explosives to take him out. Once you reach the marker, you meet Oleg in a cut-scene. Take the elevator and follow Oleg to find Loren. In the cut-scene, Loren's elevator closes and is heading for the basement. Shoot enemies whilst the rest of the Saints shoot at the cables. The object you are hanging from begins to fall, before getting stuck once more. A brute jumps onto the object to send it hurtling downwards once more. Kill the brute to activate the next cut-scene.
At the end of the mission, you have two choices. Complete one, gain the associated achievement, and then make a new save. Now reload your previous save to replay the mission for the other achievement.
OPTION 1: Blow up the building. Move to the red marker to choose the blow up the tower for the "Kah, Boom!" achievement.
Weapon: RC Possessor.
Bonus: Respect. 10% bonus to ALL respect earned.
Complete Act 1 in another way.
OPTION 2: Disarm the bomb. Move to the yellow marker to choose to disarm the bomb for the "Tower Defense" achievement.
Weapon: RC Possessor.
Bonus: Respect. 10% bonus to ALL cash earned.

Return To Steelport
The start of Act 2 begins with the Luchadores attacking the Saints, and destroying a newly opened bridge. Oleg promises to find more people that hate the syndicate for you. The first of which is a former FBI worker, Kinzie Kenzington. Get on the Miami watercraft and follow the marker to the barge. Kinzie is being held by the Deckers, a gang that controls the Stanfield district of Steelwater. Clear the boat and make your way to the marker to untie Kinzie, activating another cut-scene.
Kinzie gives you information on how to find another person that hates the Syndicate; Zimos. Zimos is being held at the BDSM Club. Make your way there. Enter the club and interrogate the marked patrons. The first patron will tell you to go upstairs to find the manager. Interrogate more patrons, until you have a new marker on your HUD. Make your way through the Morningstar to interrogate the owner about the whereabouts of Zimos. Now follow the markers to find Zimos in another cut-scene. You escape from the club on a Pony Cart, lead by Zimos. Eliminate the Morningstar that are following you with your unlimited K-8 Krukov ammo.
Once the cut-scene ends, Kinzie phones you once more about information on another person that may be interested in helping you take down the Syndicate; Angel. Follow the directions to the marker, and then kill the Luchadores nearby. Be aware of the rampaging brute. Oleg will appear to help with this fight. Once you have cleared the Luchadores from outside, enter the casino to find Angel. After a small cut-scene, more Luchadores appear. You must protect Angel during this next section. Take out the Luchadores, whilst Oleg deals with the brute. Shortly afterwards, another brute will appear, this time carrying a minigun. Once more, Oleg will attempt take care of him whilst you deal with the rest of the Luchadores. If the brute jumps down, make your way upstairs to take out the Luchadores. If you have lots of explosives and/or shotgun ammo on you, feel free to take down the brute yourself. Two brutes with flamethrowers will appear next. Again, use shotgun ammo and explosives to take them out with the assistance of Oleg, Angel and Zimos. The mission will end after the next cut-scene.
Crib: Zimos' Pad.
Gang Customization: Gimps.
For the first time so far in the game, you now have multiple missions to choose from. This walkthrough will describe each one in the order that they appear on the Cell Phone.
Zimos introduces us to the Snatch activity in a new wave of story-related activities. As with Saints Row 1 and 2, you must recruit hos from gang locations and take them back to Zimos. Whilst the hos will mostly be standing around on the street, guarded by gang-members, they will occasionally be in a car. You must stop and kill the driver before you can recruit them. You can recruit up to three hos at a time. They may also have been taken away from the original location, but they should still be nearby. Four hos are required to be delivered within 5 minutes to finish this activity.
Zimos now shows us the other type of Trafficking in Saints Row: The Third. As before, you must protect the driver from enemies as he makes several deals. Protect Zimos to three deal locations, and then back home. You have unlimited Shephard 45 ammo once more, so use this to headshot enemies. Eliminate the drivers where possible. You will be attacked by both the Morningstar and the police, both of which may send choppers your way if notoriety raises too high. Also be aware that you may need to kill buyers that do not pay, and escape from the police to advance to the next location.
The next story-related activity that Zimos introduces you to is Escort. You must escort a ho to a client, and then avoid the paparazzi, whilst completing various tasks. The activity ends when the Pleasure meter is full. You will fail if you allow the Footage meter to fill. The various tasks may include driving to a specific place, killing a specific person or performing a vehicle diversion (powerslide, etc). The best way to avoid the paparazzi is to drive down straight roads, weaving in and out of traffic. Once the pleasure meter is full, drop the client off at the marked location.
Painting A Picture
This isn't really a mission. Much like the mission after completing Pierce's story-related activities, Zimos wants to meet you at his place to talk to you about his future plans.
Shaundi phones you to complain about a party set up by the Saints. After calming her down, you agree to meet at the penthouse. When you get there, you will watch a short cut-scene showing a party, and some imposters. Your first task is to merely survive, so eliminate as many enemies as you can, whilst also ensuring that Zimos and Pierce do not die. After a while, Pierce informs you that there are snipers outside. Head for the Sniper Rifle marker, and then head upstairs to the roof. You have unlimited McManus 2015 ammo to take out the snipers.
Once you have cleared out the snipers, head back downstairs to the maintenance room to restore the power. A phone call with Oleg informs you that there are helicopters on their way. Head to the anti-air weapon marker and then head back outside. Again, you have unlimited ammo. After taking out several choppers, you will see another cut-scene.
Pimps Up, Hos Down
Zimos wants to meet you in Rosen Oaks, so travel there to start the mission, where you and him watch a news report about the S.T.A.G. Initiative. After the news report, Zimos tells you that he will auction you off as a sex slave to attack the Morningstar from within. When you awake, you will be under influence... and naked. Make your way to the collection room and disable the security. The next room is full of Morningstar, including snipers. Headshots are much more difficult in your condition, so work through the room slowly, and then head for the Security Center.
Through the first corridor of cells, you can free the hos on the computer. The hos will fight for you, so use this to your advantage. A second computer lies at the end of the following long corridor. When you enter a larger room, you can disable security to release yet more hos. Eliminate the Morningstar and then head for the garage. The garage contains a brute with a minigun. Use your shotgun and explosives on him to take him down quickly, finishing the mission.
The Safeword Stronghold is the cheapest to fully upgrade, costing just $60,000 for both upgrades combined. If you have that much money, buy both upgrades now by going into the crib, pressing Y and selecting 'Stronghold Customization'. Upgrading both will also get you the "Pimped Out Pad" achievement. If you do not have enough money now, save up and come back later.
Upgrade 1: Increase of transfer limit, 10% bonus to hourly city income, 10% bonus to all respect earned, 10% more ammo in crib weapon cache.
Upgrade 2: 10% more ammo in crib weapon cache, 15% bonus to all respect earned, increase of transfer limit, 15% bonus to hourly city income.
Upgrade one Stronghold to its full glory.
Insurance Fraud is the first of Angel's story-related activities. Make your way to Angel's Casino to begin the activity. When the activity starts, you should hijack a car and then drive to one of the marked locations. These areas give you extra adrenaline. Dive in front of cars with LT or RT, aiming to hit multiple cars at a time. Once you fill up your adrenaline metre, you can bounce off cars and travel greater distances to earn massive amounts of cash. $70,000 is needed before the time runs out to complete the activity. Note that the bonus areas can disappear, forcing you to move elsewhere. You might also want to try ignoring the marked locations, and instead driving to a freeway where cars travel much faster giving you massive amounts of money per hit.
The second of Angel's story-related activities is Trail Blazing. This involves you driving a Toad (Quad Bike) with a fire-proof suit on through checkpoints. Time bonuses are rewarded for blowing up cars and setting people on fire. You should also aim for the flaming areas on the floor, as they will instantly blow up vehicles around you. Bonus seconds are only added to the clock once you pass a checkpoint. Race through all 6 checkpoints to complete the activity.
Eye Of The Tiger
Angel's third and final story-related activity is another version of the Escort activity. You must simply drive around, avoiding the cars chasing you, as normal. Sound easy, right? Oh, and there's a tiger sitting in the passenger seat. Avoid the Steelport Zoo vehicles and crash as little as possible to avoid filling up the rage meter. If the rage meter does fill up, you must complete various tasks to calm the tiger down. The activity ends when you fill up the courage meter. Drive down long, straight roads. Don't be afraid to slow down when the tiger swipes at you to avoid crashing.
Homie: Angel Dela Muerte.
Face Your Fear
As with Pierce and Zimos, this is not a real mission. Make your way to Angel's Casino to meet him. Angel now believes that you are ready to fight Killbane.
The Ho Boat
After a short phone call with Zimos, Viola DeWynta phones you, informing you of a cargo ship that may be of interest to you, in hopes of attacking the Morningstar. Meet Zimos at the Docks in Salander to begin the mission. Use the Shark to get to the cargo ship. Once you are on-board, clear the decks and open the cargo containers to find the four groups of hos. Aside from the ho crates, some containers have weapons in them, whilst two contain brutes.
Once you have found all four ho crates, head to the North Platform and use the Minigun to take down the choppers and boats. Helicopters will attempt to land directly on the cargo ship, whilst boats will attempt to park alongside the ship. Eliminate all the enemies so that Pierce can arrive and take away the precious cargo. Get in the helicopter that arrives on the North Platform. You must now protect the cargo with your unlimited ammo Annihiliator. Hold LT to target a vehicle before shooting at the various boats. choppers and APCs. After the section with the APCs, you must protect the chopper from enemies on the rooftops, many of which will be standing near stationary helicopters, making them easy to take out.
After a phone call, you are given another choice. Whatever your choice, you will earn the "Gotta Break Em In" achievement.
OPTION 1: Deliver hos to Morningstar. Drive towards the blue marker for a lump sum cash pay-out.
Bonus - Lump Sum Deposit: $25,000 Cash Deposit.
OPTION 2: Keep hos for the Saints. Drive towards the purple marker for an increased hourly cash income.
Bonus - Ho Business: Hourly City Income of $1,000.
Viola agrees to meet you, so drive to the location to start the mission. In the cut-scene, you are joined by Oleg. Viola agrees to join with the Saints, whilst the S.T.A.G. Initiative comes into force. You begin the mission inside a strip club, being attacked by STAG. Follow the markers, eliminating STAG as you go. They are wearing more protective armor than the other gangs, so aim for headshots. After the next cut-scene, the three of you are on top of the roof. If you have any explosives, such as an Annihilator, save them for later in the mission. Use all of your other ammo for now. STAG will attempt to drop soldiers both on your roof, and on neighbouring rooftops. Eliminate them with headshots as before. Oleg will assist you with nearby enemies, whilst Viola attempts to hot-wire the elevator. Some of the STAG soldiers that land on the roof carry Annihilators, so collect them for later.
After defeating a few waves of enemies, a high-tech jet (VTOL) attacks you. Use the Annihilator now. Do not bother attempting to destroy the second VTOL, as Oleg takes care of it. After the second VTOL is destroyed, the elevator is available for use. Head back downstairs and eliminate yet more STAG soldiers. Escape the building and jump in the Peacemaker (Police car). Allow Viola to jump in the passenger seat, and then follow the markers to the Saints HQ. Expect to be chased by many vehicles with lasers, and avoid the many roadblocks as best you can. The mission ends once you reach the Saints HQ.
Make your way to the Saints HQ to begin the next mission. Get in a car and head to the STAG Base. Make your way to the back of the base and hijack a VTOL. Fly upwards and then destroy all of the vehicles below you to get STAG's attention. The VTOL has rockets (LT) and lasers (RT). Head to the three other bases and destroy the designated targets. You will also have to destroy other VTOLs and roadblocks containing tanks. Once you have visited all three bases and destroyed the targets, head to Oleg. Help Oleg by destroying the surrounding tanks and N-Forcers. Some VTOLs will also appear, so destroy them quickly with your laser. Once Oleg is safe, fly your VTOL to the surveillance aircraft. Note that here you have a timer to complete the mission. The large aircraft will be surrounded by VTOLs and Condors. Take them down, and then focus all of your fire power on the large aircraft. Take it down to end the mission.
Vehicle: STAG VTOL.
Nyte Blayde's Return
Head to the Comic Store to meet Pierce and Viola. Nyte Blayde is the mascot for STAG, and so the Saints want to use this to their advantage. Viola and yourself dress up as a Cardinal and the Bloody Cannoness, as an attempt to enter into the building to retrieve Josh Birk. Head to the PR Center and enter the building unarmed. Follow the markers through the building to Josh Birk for a small cut-scene. After the cut-scene, you must escape from the building. You can now use a gun, so take out the STAG soldiers as you go. There are snipers in the room before the elevator, so stay outside and take out enemies one by one. A couple of the STAG soldiers that appear from the elevator will also be armed with an Annihilator, so be careful.
After taking the elevator downstairs, you will be confronted by enemies in all directions. Try to take out the enemies that are directly in front of you first, before focusing on the ones that are to the side of you, to make the mission slightly easier. As you make your way down the stairs, more enemies will appear from the elevator. Stay back and take them out as they approach you. Enter the elevator and then make your way to the marker to put Josh in a car. Now you should drive the car to the Saints HQ, whilst avoiding the STAG attackers, to complete the mission.
Outfit: Cardinal Outfit.
After the cut-scene, you must drive to the PR Center once more. Upon arrival to the PR Center, you should throw Molotovs at the two banners that are hanging from the building. You may wish to clear out the STAG soldiers from the surrounding area first. Once the two banners are up in flames, return to the Saints HQ. Enter the building and head upstairs. Collect whichever weapons you want, and then use the Annihilator to destroy STAG vehicles once they surround the building entrance. Oleg has placed many car bombs at the base, so one rocket should eliminate most of the vehicles. More N-Forcers will appear, but you are not required to destroy them.
Head to the south-side of the building to help Viola. Kill the STAG soldiers already in the building, and then eliminate the N-Forcers once more, using the car bombs. After clearing out most of the vehicles, you will be alerted to some snipers. Eliminate them, and then head back to the north-side to face a couple of tanks. Collect some more Annihilator ammo and destroy the tanks quickly. Once both tanks have been destroyed, Pierce will be on his way. Head downstairs using the elevator, and make your way to Pierce. Another tank appears, so use your Annihilator and grenades (if you have any ammo remaining) to take it out. You should also take out any enemies on the N-Forcer turrets. Get to Pierce and either drive him to the base or encourage him along by running.
Pierce has given you the SA-3 Airstrike, a laser targetting weapon that will allow you to take out tanks with ease. You have unlimited ammo on the weapon for now, so target the tanks as they arrive to destroy them. Each tank will take 2 or 3 airstrikes to destroy. After destroying three tanks, some VTOLs will arrive. Use the SA-3 Airstrike to take them out too. VTOLs only take one hit to be destroyed.
After taking out the VTOLs, you must eliminate some STAG soldiers that have managed to make it inside the building. You should have plenty of ammo, but if you don't, use the unlimited Molotovs to take them out easily. After killing the targets, move to the north-side again. Take the elevator to the penthouse, and then run to Shaundi at the Helipad for a cut-scene. You will again have two options. Choose wisely. After your decision, jump off the penthouse. Whichever decision you make, you will unlock the "I Heart Nyte Blayde" achievement.
OPTION 1: Return Josh to STAG. Give Josh to Cyrus for STAG City Takeover Assistance.
City Takeover: Completes all City Takeover gameplay for an entire Hood automatically.
Weapon: SA-3 Airstrike.
OPTION 2: Keep Josh with the Saints. Give Josh to Shaundi to keep Josh as a Homie.

Live! With Killbane
Kinzie phones you and tells you to go to Smiling Jack's, as something bad is happening. Go there to watch the cut-scene and start the mission. You have 16 minutes to complete the mission. First, drive to the helicopter with Shaundi. Get in the helicopter and fly to the first radio tower. Land on the helipad, clear out the Deckers and plant the transmitter. Quickly run back to the helicopter and fly to the next radio tower. Again, land on the helipad and clear out the surrounding Deckers. Make your way up to the top of the building, using the stairs on the left. Once there, clear out more enemies and plant another transmitter. Head back to the helicopter. You can jump off and parachute downwards to speed up the travel, but you may have to revive Shaundi who will foolishly follow you without a parachute.
Follow the marker to the Broadcast Van. You must approach the van within 60m or so, scanning it with the lights on the front of the helicopter. Once you have the information you need, head to the Interview. Land on top of the building, take out the Deckers and enter the building. In the next room, you must clear out the Deckers once more. This time there is a Decker specialist, darting about the room. More Deckers, including another specialist, will enter before the end of the fight. Once the room is clear, talk to Jane Valderamma. Head back upstairs and climb in the helicopter once more. When you are close enough to the marked vehicle, a cut-scene will end the mission.
Head to Kinzie's hideout to start the mission. The cut-scene shows that the Saints need a computer. As before, get to the STAG PR Center. When you arrive, there will be lots of Deckers and several STAG soldiers. Clear the enemies, and then head inside. The lobby will also be full of both the Deckers and STAG, so clear the area once more. There will be reinforcements from both teams from the elevators and upstairs. When the area is fully clear, head to the elevators to get to the garage.
In the Garage is a tank and many more Deckers. Either take out the Deckers and then get in the tank, or make your way to the tank and use it to take out the Deckers. Head outside and follow the marker to the truck. You must not blow up the truck. Instead, use the machine gun (LT) to take out the tyres. Once you have damaged all four tyres, a cut-scene takes over and the mission ends.
This is the first of Kinzie's story-related activities. Head to her hideout to start the mission. The activity involves playing a Tron-style video game so that Kinzie can highlight the location of the Deckers in real life. Much like the normal Trail Blazing activity, you must drive through checkpoints, whilst collecting time bonuses. This time however, you are on a bike, and have to ride through Decker targets (shown as tanks), whilst avoiding red firewalls. You should also aim for the blue flames on the floor, which will blow up the following tanks for you. There are 11 checkpoints in this activity. As before, time bonuses are only added when you pass each checkpoint.
Kinzie now introduces you to Mayhem. Drive to the marked location to start the story-related activity. You must make $90,000 damage to the area within 5 minutes. To increase your score, build up your combos. Whilst destroying enemies and their vehicles can help, you should find areas with lots of fences and boxes/trash to boost your score considerably. Anything that can be destroyed will count towards the activity.
Kinzie's next story-related activity is Guardian Angel, similar to the activity you played with Pierce in Act 1. When the activity starts, you must protect Kinzie from the Deckers using your McManus 2015. Take out enemies one by one with your sniper to allow Kinzie to get to her vehicle. In the next section, you are following Kinzie's vehicle in a chopper, armed with an Annihilator. Aim in front of the Decker's vehicles to avoid damaging Kinzie's car, or wait for Kinzie to drive past them and eliminate them as they are turning. There will also be some APCs, so once again shoot in front of them to destroy them before they approach Kinzie. When Kinzie reaches her destination, the activity will end. As there are only two Guardian Angel activities in the game, you will also unlock the "Go Into the Light" achievement.
Complete all instances of Guardian Angel.
The final story-related activity from Kinzie is a Heli Assault activity. Drive to the mission start to begin the activity. Follow Kinzie around, destroying enemies with the Vulture's weapons. As the missiles do not lock on to enemies in this vehicle, it may be better to use the machine gun instead. Be aware of enemy choppers, shooting them before they can shoot missiles at either you or Kinzie. Only three stops are needed to complete this activity.
Homie: Kinzie Kenzington.
This is not a proper mission. Much like those before, it is a mission that ends the story-related activities for the related character. Meet Kinzie at Smiling Jack's again. She informs you that she has enough information on the Deckers in the following cut-scene.
Stop All The Downloading
Drive to Kinzie's to meet Kinzie and Oleg. The cut-scene basically tells you that the Deckers have a chair that is needed to work the computer that you stole earlier in the game. Drive with Kinzie to the Nuke Plant. Once you reach the Nuke Plant, three markers will appear on your HUD. Drive to each one and protect Kinzie whilst she hacks into each uplink. At each location, you should eliminate the Deckers, so that Kinzie can complete the hack. After you have been to all three locations, follow the marker to a new location, where you must wait for a helicopter to arrive. Whilst waiting, several Deckers will arrive in vehicles. One of them is a brute. As you should know by now, brutes are best taken down using explosives and shotguns.
When the helicopter arrives, the mission moves into a different stage. Kinzie flies to the top of the Nuke Plant and tells you to parachute down inside. Follow the marker downstairs, where you will find a large room with lots of Deckers and four routers that you need to disable. It is wise to clear the area first before you take care of the routers. More Deckers, including a few specialists will appear after each router is disabled. Once you have disabled the four outer routers, you are told that there is one more to disable in the center of the room. Shut down the last router to complete the mission.

After a short conversation with Pierce, you are told to go to Kinzie's Place to start the next mission. The cut-scene shows you sitting in the chair that you helped steal previously as you enter cyberspace. The mission begins with you as a toilet avatar, which quickly changes to a sex doll, and then a cyber-person as you move through the data. You are armed with a charge weapon with unlimited ammo. As enemies appear, charge the weapon and eliminate them one by one. Make your way to the firewall. Matt will occasionally alter the rules of reality, causing various effects, such as slow, rewind and inverted axis. Once you reach the firewall, there is a 'Dragons and Tears' text-based adventure. Complete the quest by selecting the following: Take A Torch, Keep Walking, Keep Walking, Kill The Unicorn. Exit the game and continue moving through cyber space towards the anti-virus, but not before you are transformed back into a toilet for a short period. You will get to an area with three Decker specialists. Eliminate them and move forward for another game where you must destroy an enemy tank. Move the tank by pushing the left thumbstick forward, whilst shooting with RT. Once the tank is destroyed, you will return to cyber space as a sex doll for a short period. Make your way to the internet security.
You will eventually reach a debug screen with an easter egg (of sorts) regarding Gat. Press any button to continue, and move towards the marker where you will fight Matt Miller's avatar. Charge up your gun frequently to shoot at him, and dodge his ranged attacks using LB+A. A reaction sequence will soon follow. Press A to dodge his attack, and then mash RT to damage him. Matt will cause your weapon to be unable to charge, so run away until Kinzie fixes it. When you reduce his health enough to stun him, run towards him and press Y to damage him again by mashing RT. Eventually, Kinzie will change your avatar to match Matt Miller's. Matt will disappear temporarily, so defeat the Deckers until he returns. When he does return, approach him and mash the Sword Swipe (RT). When he teleports, dodge his attacks with LB until you are close enough to sword swipe him some more. Repeat this sequence until his health is almost depleted. Another reaction sequence will follow. Mash RT to push him away, and then A to dodge his sword attack. Finally, mash RT on two occasions to defeat him.
Matt makes you an offer. Whichever you choose, you will unlock the "kill-deckers.exe" achievement.
OPTION 1: Take over a vehicle manufacturer. Move to the Automotive Distributer for Vehicle Customisation cost reduction.

After a short conversation with Shaundi, you realise that she is in trouble. The mission ends there.
My Name Is Cyrus Temple.
Go to 'Image As Designed' in Rosen Oaks to begin this mission, where you will see a cut-scene where you become a Cyrus Temple lookalike. First, find a VTOL at Sierra Point, the home of STAG. Be sure not to crash into anyone or anything so as to not blow your cover. When you get the VTOL Condor, fly to the Thermopylae. As you approach it, you see a cut-scene. When you regain control, follow Kia, staying within a certain distance of her. When the two of you reach your destination, she asks you to sign off on two of the three available prototypes. Select the two that you feel will be of most use to you.
After you select the two prototypes, your cover is blown. Move through the rooms eliminating the STAG guards until you find the brig. In the second large room, there are three tanks. Take control of the one closest to you and eliminate all of the enemies and the other two tanks. Once you are in the brig, release you friends by activating the security doors outside their cells. After you have freed them, find your way to the reactor control room. There are lots of enemies in the reactor control room, including snipers. Take them out one by one before entering the room. Once it is clear, make your way to the marker to destroy the console. After destroying the console, you have 3 minutes to escape from the Thermopylae. Follow the markers once more. Ignore enemies where possible, only eliminating those that pose a large threat. There are 4 VTOLs in the final room. All but the Condor VTOL explode as you approach them. Run to the Condor VTOL to end the mission and Act 2, giving you the "Titanic Effort" achievement.
Weapon: Satchel Charges (If selected as one of the two prototypes).
Vehicle: Jet Bike (If selected as one of the two prototypes).
Vehicle: STAG Tank v2 (If selected as one of the two prototypes).
Kinzie tells you to go to the Airport to use Viola's aircraft. Note that many of the bridges have been raised to separate access to and from islands. After the cut-scene, you are in a STAG aircraft. The door in front of you is locked, so search the weapon crates for a Sonic Boom. Beware of the new improved, STAG Commandos. You must kill 25 STAG Commandos for one of the challenges, so try to eliminate as many as you can. Once you have the Sonic Boom, head back to the door. Blast through the first door to meet some more commandos and another door to blast through. After blasting through the second door, turn around and escape from the plane. You have just 60 seconds, so you might want to run past the four enemies in front of you.
After the cut-scene showing your escape, you are free falling once more. This time you are in a tank with lots of STAG commandos surrounding you. Use the laser gun (LT) to eliminate them. Use the rockets (RT) on other tanks when they appear. After a couple of waves of commandos and tanks, some VTOLs appear. Use the laser on them as they pass you. After some more tanks, commandos and VTOLs, you are told to bail from the tank to skyjack one of the other falling tanks below you. Watch the following cut-scene for some interesting happenings and the end of the mission.

A Remote Chance
A meeting is arrange at the Broken Shillelagh to discuss Killbane. After the cut-scene, you are flying in an Opressor with the RC Possessor. This weapon takes control of nearby vehicles. You are taken to the gym. Take control of the marked vehicle and run over 15 pedestrians. After that, drive to the nearby gas station to crash into a fuel pump, blowing up the car to kill the wrestler within. You are then taken to the harbor, where you can take control of one of three boats. Take control of them and crash them into the beach party to kill yet another wrestler. The third wrestler on the list is on a helicopter tour. Take control of the helicopter when you approach it, and crash it into another helicopter nearby. After crashing the helicopter, you are taken to the airport to take care of the final wrestler. There are several STAG tanks in the area. Take control of them one by one and attack the marked tank to end the mission.
Viola calls to inform you that she has agreed for you to meet the Mayor of Steelport. Go to the marked problem for a cut-scene with the Mayor. After the cut-scene, drive to the Quarantine Zone. There are three containers leaking a virus on Arapice Island. You must submerge them in the water nearby, using your Sonic Boom gun. The Zombies die quickly, but they are very fast. It is wise to use the Sonic Boom on them, as you can kill several at a time. If a zombie grabs you, mash RT to escape. Some zombies are also on fire, so kill them before they approach you. Be careful not to destroy the containers with your weapons, as that will fail the mission!
The first container is close to you, so submerge that as soon as you can. Get to the roof where Viola is standing to help her fight off four zombies, and then head to the second container. Once you have submerged that, Viola recognises that your gas mask is in need of repair. Make your way to Rim Jobs. Once there, protect Viola whilst she finds the required parts for your gas mask. After the gas mask has been fixed, get to the third and final container. Submerge it as before.
After submerging the three containers, you are given a new objective; get to the Chemical Truck. There are two ways to end this mission, based on options given to you by the Mayor and Oleg. Whichever option you choose, the "Once Bitten... Braaaaaaains" achievement will unlock.
OPTION 1: Return zombie virus to Oleg. Drive the truck towards the blue marker for Zombie homies.
Homie: Zombie Backup.
Item: Gas Mask.
Notoriety Wipe: Law.
OPTION 2: Destroy zombie virus for the Mayor. Drive the truck towards the red marker to get the Mayor and SWAT as homies.
Homie: Burt Reynolds.

Complete 'Zombie Attack'.
3 Count Beat Down
Meet Angel at the 3 Count to begin the mission, where you and Angel aim to earn the mask back. Start by destroying lots of slot machines. Beware that you will face many Luchadores in this mission, including specialists and brutes. Once you have destroyed enough, find the manager of the casino to interrogate him. Once he tells you where the mask is, head to the vault.
Before you leave, Angel wants to destroy some statues of Killbane. Head to the markers and take them down. Once all six statues have been destroyed, clear out the remaining Luchadores. There will be a couple of brutes holding flamethrowers, so stay back and attack with explosives. Brutes are slow at moving upstairs, so use this to your advantage. Once the marked Luchadores have been eliminated, the mission will end.
Crib: 3 Count Casino.
Stronghold: 3 Count.
Now that Angel has his mask back, he can finally fight the Walking Apocolypse. After the cut-scene, you must defend the wrestling ring from Luchadores, whilst Angel and Killbane fight. Look at the minimap to see where enemies are approaching and take them down. Pick up some of the melee weapons to make this fight a little easier. The weapons do break after doing so much damage, so be sure to pick up new weapons frequently. Alternatively, work on the 'No-Weapon Kills' challenge by remaining unarmed.
After a few waves of Luchadores, another cut-scene begins. Angel is thrown out of the ring and is being attacked by Luchadores. Meanwhile, you are armed with a Woodsman chainsaw. Use the chainsaw to quickly kill off waves of Luchadores, before talking to Angel. For the remainder of the mission, you will be fighting Killbane alone. Enter the ring, and begin fighting him. Items will be thrown into the ring, so grab them once again and start attacking your opponent. There will be a few reaction sequences. Dodge with A, and then jump on Killbane with Y. Whilst riding him, guide him to a corner, continually mashing RT to punch him. Once he is in a corner, mash RT once more to throw Killbane out of the ring. This will repeat two more times. In the second corner encounter, mash RT to counter, before hitting A to attack him. Before the third encounter, Luchadores will enter the ring. Use the weapons to take them down quickly. In the third encounter, mash RT to shoulder barge Killbane, before using A to elbow drop from the corner.
Before the end of the mission, you are given two choices. Whichever you choose, you will earn the "Murderbrawl 31" achievement.
OPTION 1: Unmask Killbane. Press LT to take off Killbane's mask.

OPTION 2: Spare Killbane. Press RT to get the Apoca-Fists from Killbane.
Complete 'Murderbrawl XXXI'.
Head to the Saints HQ to begin the mission. There are three battle locations around the city; one in New Baranec, one in Ashwood, and one at the Armory. You must drive to each of them with Oleg and Pierce. At each location, you must clear the area of Luchadores and STAG. Each location ends with brutes or tanks that you must deal with. Use explosives to deal with the tanks quickly. The armory is by far the most difficult of the three locations. Here, you should try to hide in the raised section near the entrance to the armory. There is only one entrance/exit to this location, so you can eliminate enemies as they enter. When the tank arrives, use whatever firepower you have remaining to take it down.
Once you have cleared the Armory, you have two choices. They separate the story for the final missions of the game. However, you can replay the mission for the other option, so do not worry too much over your choice. Obtain one achievement and then select the 'Three Way' mission from the Cell Phone to obtain the other one by altering your choice.
OPTION 1: Go to the statue. Follow the green marker to save Shaundi.
If you choose to save Shaundi, head for the green marker to meet Kinzie at the Docks. Get on the Miami, and head towards the statue and then towards the blue marker to climb the statue. Once you are on the statue, you have 5 minutes to clear all of the explosives. Clear the explosives by charging the Sonic Boom and shooting them. There will be many Luchadores on the statue, so eliminate them as you go to make things easier. The Sonic Boom is also useful at taking out the Luchadores, so try that too. You may also want to untie the Saints if you want some additional help. After you have cleared the explosives, proceed up the statue. At the very top of the statue, Shaundi is being held by Kia, whilst Viola and the Mayor lay tied up nearby. Collect the 'Fart in a Jar' pick ups, and throw them at Kia. She will temporarily release Shaundi, allowing you to attack. Repeat this multiple times until Kia is dead.
After the cut-scene, a new mission will begin. You are on Mars with Shaundi, Pierce and Gat. Make your way through to Killbane's Lair by disabling forcefields and planting explosive charges. With each forcefield you disable, you will lose one homie. Once you get to Killbane's Lair, you see a cut-scene. To defeat him, shoot the lava crystals as he passes them. After so much damage, Killbane will break down. Attack him with Y. Repeat this two more times for another cut-scene, ending the mission and unlocking the "Gangstas... In Space!" achievement.
Gang Customization: Space Saints.
Homie: Zombie Gat.

Complete Act 3 in another way.
OPTION 2: Head to the Airport. Follow the red marker to eliminate Killbane.
If you choose to go to eliminate Killbane, first go to the red marker. Eliminate the STAG around Angel to save him. Once Angel is saved, he will drive you to Killbane's plane. You have unlimited Annihilator ammo, so use rockets to destroy anything and everything chasing you. When you approach the airport, the marker will change to Killbane's plane. Aim several rockets at it to damage it, preventing Killbane from escaping. Another cut-scene will begin. After that, you are face to face with Killbane once more. A reaction sequence follows. Head-butt Killbane a few times with RT, and then smash his head against the plane wreckage by moving LS down. Finish him off by mashing LT.
Vehicle: STAG N-Forcer.
This mission only appears if you chose to eliminate Killbane. Head to the Broken Shillelagh for a cut-scene. As the mission begins, drive to the Saints HQ to get a helicopter. Fly up to the Daedalus and destroy the four cannons at the front. Once the cannons are destroyed, land on top of the Daedalus and plant bombs at the marked locations. There are plenty of STAG here, so take your time. Many of the STAG soldiers are armed with Annihilators, so take them and destroy the tanks on-board. After placing the first two bombs, grab an aircraft and head for the Rear Deck to plant another bomb. Fly down a level to plant the final bomb. There is lots of Annihilator ammo nearby, but there is also a minigun. Grab whichever you wish and aim your fire at Cyrus' plane. You have a timer to defeat him and escape. Cyrus will also send STAG soldiers towards you, so eliminate them too. Once you deal enough damage to Cyrus' plane, you should escape the Daedalus by jumping into the VTOL nearby and flying away. The mission will end with a cut-scene, giving you the "Mr. Fury Would Be Proud' achievement.
