Bionic Commando: Rearmed Walkthrough

1. Walkthrough overview

Hello, and welcome to my walkthrough for Bionic Commando: Rearmed. I'll be listing the achievements in the order I believe to be most efficient. It's important to note that once you start a campaign on a certain difficulty, you will be unable to switch difficulties without starting a completely new game. This is why I recommend playing on normal first. If you get pretty far into the game on hard and decide it's too tough, you'll have wasted a lot of time.

1.) Play through normal difficulty to get everything but "H4><0rz", "A Real Challenge", and "Elite Commando". Alternatively, you can choose to ignore this step and start in hard mode. I don't recommend that however, since you have infinite lives in normal mode, making it easy to gather items necessary for the "Intel Collector", "Private Arsenal", "The Emperor's New Clothes", and "One Dozen Yashichis" achievements. If you're a BCR newbie, you will definitely not want to play in hard mode first. It may save you a playthrough, but I guarantee the "H4><0rz" achievement will go much faster if you play through normal before attempting it.

2.) Play through hard difficulty for "H4><0rz" and work on "A Real Challenge". I'd recommend going for "H4><0rz" first, as it doesn't take nearly as long as "A Real Challenge" will, and it will help you brush up a little bit on your arm techniques.

3.) Finally, attempt "Elite Commando". Be warned, this is very hard. Enemies have much more health, can kill you in two hits (or instantly in the case of knife soldiers), and will be much more aggressive than you're used to. Definitely save this for after you obtain the "A Real Challenge" achievement, since good arm techniques will help you in sticky situations. The general tips section of this walkthrough is written assuming you are playing on this difficulty, so check it out, and good luck!
