That #1 guy is a douche. Take him down!
But take that pussy setting off first!

the only thing counting against me is DR3 which will be completed anyways in like a week when the last dlc comes out -_-
Then what does it matter? take it off! :P
haha, I stand by my beliefs. DLC you choose not to get shouldn't count against you.
Its not god. It exists. Theres no belief behind it. Its there, man up and do it or take the incompletion
Achievements you decided not to get shouldn't count against you either. Where is my setting for that TA!
True that! I'm 100% complete because the ones I don't have don't count
No, but before gamefly was around and I needed to trade in games to get other games, I'm not going to go buy the game 3 months later again when the game dropped dlc.
and trying to make that kind of example is ludicrous, you can't even compare the achievements part of the original 100 and DLC that may or not come out a few months later
Yes you can. Because they are part of the same list. DLC, main game, whatever. its all in the same list so therefore they are all equal. They all count
What you do is try and separate the dlc like its own game when its not. DR 3 dlc is not DR4-7. Its DR3
What about online passes huh? they are dlc but they still count under these rules.....
Gamefly excuse is just lazy. It's incomplete until you either go spend the few dollars to get it back and trade it in again, or rent it.
If you want to compete with stuff like that you have to put in the effort. Not cheat your way to the top
Cheating my way to the top? First off, this is xbox one leaderboards, so DR3 is the only game in question here. Secondly, look at the guy I'm tied with at 9 games
Look how his DR is showing complete also. and the next guy has 7 so even if I were to change it I wouldn't move places there.
and sorry, but once a game is complete it shouldn't technically become incomplete again. If you just finished running a 26.2 mile marathon and you get home then you get
a call later that they decided to add 5 miles to it, you still finished the fucking marathon.
But this isn't a marathon. This is the rules laid forth by microsoft. So deal with it
And if everyone else goes back and does the 5 miles they are better than you for not. So they are ahead for doing it.
News flash, this isn't Microsoft, this is TA. The rules are also laid forth by them to give you the option of how you perceive DLC. Don't like it? Good for you, you get
to chose how you perceive it also, but don't shit all over me because I don't feel it's fair to take away someone's completion up to a year later when a company decides
to release extra achievements. To each his own. I personally think it should be set to owned DLC for everyone.
and that is why TA is a bunch of meaningless bullshit. Any random fuck can pad his way to the top of something to make themselves feel better
If TA want to make their own rules they need to get the fuck out and make their own system.
Lifes not fair. This is whats wrong with the world. Everyone tries to cater to the cry babies and now they think they have a right
Like all the people bitching for a refund because of the X1 price cut.
You say, as you post that comment on TA, a site you frequent constantly. and once again, what am I padding my way to the top of? the number 2 spot on NC leaderboard which
I would be at even if DR was taken off my list.
TA has always been just a way for random people to make there score bigger with "TRUE" achievement score. But the stuff they have done recently has just made them even
are you not the one bitching that it's not fair that I have it set to only owned DLC?
No I'm not bitching about it not being fair I'm bitching at the people bitching. That's the only reason the option exists.
Because TA, like everything else these days tries to cater to the cry babies who want bigger stats than they actually have.
It's like I run a marathon and get a medal. Some guy stops halfway and they decide he can still have one.
Like participation trophies.
No, it's like you both run marathons and get a medal. Then he flies home and they decide to add another few miles to it. He should be expected to pay to fly back and run
some extra miles even though he FINISHED the marathon already?
If he wants to be at the same level as the guys doing it, yes.
Otherwise he only completed 26/30 miles that everyone else has done. He doesn't get the same recognition.
Why should that guy get to stand alongside the guys who went the extra miles (Yes, pun intended)?
Because he completed everything that was put in front of him. I view DLC as extra credit, if I'm satisfied with my 100 percent, that's fine. He will have 125%.
So if TA are hellbent on having these asinine rules then 1 of 2 things need to happen. There needs to be an even higher status than "complete" for people who do the dlc
TA will still put him at the top of the gamers who have completed the game because he's gotten more achievements so it's not like I'll be stealing his spot.
and like I said, X one games are what I'm taking seriously right now, not x360 leaderboards which I'm not trying to get on the same level as anyone there.
OR People like you shouldn't be able to see people like us on the same leaderboards.
So this really only boil down to one game that's decided to throw all the dlc onto the card before it's released which the final one will be out in a couple of weeks
anyways so the whole argument becomes pointless.
No, this is about the bigger picture. Not just your 1 game. down the like it could be 10-20-1000. It doesnt matter.
Wait, you mean the leaderboard that you're not even on?
Low blow. Im talking as a whole that dlc counts. By it not counting it counts against the people who do do it
And the setting you have on isn't just for this one leaderboard. You have it set for everything.
Yes, but that's what I'm trying to get at. You say I'm trying to cheat my way to the top. I'm ranked 7,701 overall in completed games. I'm light years away from the top.
My only leaderboard focus is Xbox one stuff now . I'm not even playing 360 games anymore.
and I do apologize for the low blow, I didn't realize how harsh it sounded until after I typed it.
But look man, I saw the option to set it that way and it made sense to me. If it wasn't there I would deal with it and not bitch about it, but since the gave me the
choice I took it. I would personally not like to be burned for games that I worked hard to get the 1000 on and 6 months later they decided to put out dlc long after I've
traded in the game and moved on. but let's just agree to disagree. I see your point and understand where you're coming from, but I also have my views on it.
But its not like they take away the 1000 you got. You just don't have the extra. The people who do the extra what do they get when they do it? If they already have the
completion at 1000 what do they get at 1250? (or 1090 or whatever)
They get more gamerscore, more TA score and more achievements and are put at the top of the "so many people have completed this game" list. While at the same time, I
don't get stripped of my completion.
More GS and TA doesnt mean a thing in this situation. I can play another game for that. being at the top I guess is something but It still feels like they are
belittling the people who do all of it
Well then TA could put a little asterisk next to the people that didn't do the DLC, I'd have no problem with that.
