Go to the Artemis Tau Cluster into the Knossos system. There should be marks on the map pointing to where you should go, and besides that, there is only one planet that you can land on.

Fight your way through the level and boss fight to gain her as an ally and earn this achievement.

The first chance you will get to do this is after you gain control of the Normandy after you become a Spector. You will have 3 mission choices on the galactic map. You want to go the Artemis Tau Cluster and then chose the Knossos system. The Galatic map doesn't say Artemis Tau when the mission is there, It will say something like "Find Liara" (who is Dr. Tsoni.

There is only one planet you can land on, go there. You need to drive your Mako around a bit and eventually enter the mining facility. You free Dr. T'soni and then fight a Krogan boss. Pretty nasty dude. A short movie will play of the place coming down. The achievement will pop as you are back on the Normandy and Joker starts talking.
