  A very simple and boring way to get this achievement is first rescuing a citizen and getting Vigilante help. Usually there are four black robed guys that will grab guards for you to escape. Start a fight with a guard then run into the vigilantes. They will continuously grab the guard. Just stand there for ten minutes for the achievement to unlock. You don’t even have to block, they do all the work for you. You will know the 10 minutes is up when the achievement will unlock.

  I got this right after getting into Damascus. The first "Save Citizen" that I came across, all I did was engage combat, kill enough guards until there was just one, and then I let him back me into a corner while just holding down RT. They won't be able to hit you, you won't go anywhere, and all you need to do is hold the trigger for 10 minutes.

  this one is easy but boring. Just get into a fight with one or two gaurds and hold down the block button for 10 minutes, keep an eye on your guy though as you don't want to die from them breaking your guard occasionaly.

  Boring achievement indeed, it's good to do this along a clear street so you can keep backing along it and not get cornered (making it easier for them to break your guard)

  I sat cornered by guard holding block with the sword. Helps to have a laptop near by to do some surfing while you wait.

  To make this achievement a little less boring, combine it with 'Eagle's Challenge'. Attack a set of guards, killing all but one, and then hold RT to block him as you back your way through the city. He'll follow you, just swinging away. You move pretty slow, but eventually you will come across another set of guards who will set upon you. Kill all but one, and repeat. It took me about 7 minutes to kill 25 guards, unlocking 'Eagle's Challenge', and then you only have to sit and block for 2-3 minutes to get 'Eagle's Flight'.
  
  And of course you can use counters or combos during this process to start knocking out those achievements as well.

  The "Kill ALL BUT One" strategy never works for me because the one guard always gets scared and runs away. Even if other guards are nearby, if the screen flashes back to white, you are screwed and the timer resets. (Bad for both of those achievements.)
