    You must buy the following cars:

    Callaway Sledgehammer Twin Turbo
    Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1
    Ford GT40 Mk1 (make sure you buy the Mk1, not the standard GT40)
    McLaren F1 LM
    RUF CTR "Yellow Bird"
    Shelby Cobra GT500 (make sure you buy the Shelby GT500, not the Ford Shelby GT500)
    TVR Cerbera Speed Twelve

    The McLaren F1 LM is the second most expensive car in the game, so you will need a lot of credits to earn this achievement.

    JimbobTheKingI've unlocked it, its the Ford Shelby GT500, not the Shelby version. Hope that helps, although no-one really plays this game anymore so i doubt anyone will care ;-)

    VegaDark541Actually, in reply to the last comment, I can confirm that buying the Shelby GT500, NOT the Ford Shelby GT500 (just like the solution says) is the correct car. I already had the Ford Shelby and didn't get the achievement, I had to buy the regular Shelby one before I did (so it is possible you need both, I suppose)

    FafhrddGreat guide, worked perfectly!

    I just want to clarify. There are two different cars, one is called the "Shelby Cobra GT-500" (made by Ford) and one is called the "Shelby GT-500" (made, at the time, by Shelby before Ford bought them out).

    THE ONE YOU WANT, as the guide states, is the "Shelby GT-500" by Shelby (not by Ford).

    dwu1983, I would suggest removing the words "Cobra" from the guide since in fact the Cobra is by Ford. This should eliminate confusion.
