    If you are fighting him without using grenades, the canon works well- switching to the minigun to take out the small spiders, then back to the canon.

    Actions
    The spider is the first mini boss in the game, you encounter him in the first level. Simply beat him to get the achievement. I found it easy to save up all your grenades until you reach him so you can take him down quickly.
