The method posted by Jinutsu (which has since disappeared!) worked perfectly for me so I decided to make a quick video to show where to go and what to do.

The mission in question is "Killing Fields" (Chapter 8 I believe). When you gain control, pick up the sniper behind you. Climbing up the hill, you'll encounter 1 regular wave of enemies followed by a wave of minigun toting baddies.

Continue up the hill to a large archway, beyond which you'll see a small skirmish being fought. If you hang back away from the archway the battle will continue to rage. This allows you to quietly shoot the enemy heads bobbing along the ridge to the right. You can always pause and reload checkpoint if you have any trouble.

Mar 2011 edit: Video re-created in HD.

FivePartTrilogyI can confirm that if you miss a shot entirely, then it doesn't count against you. I hit my first 6 shots, then missed the next guy altogether, then got 4 more headshots. The achievement just wants you to string 10 kills by headshot in a row, so no need to stress if you miss a shot.

This achievement is easy to do in End of the Road at the part where you go into the base. It has a T-Rex at the front gate (On Multiplayer the level is called Firestorm). Just run past the T-Rex and go through the gate and go to the right where there is ammo and a sniper. Grab the the sniper (if you don't have one already) and go beside the crate nearby. Crouch and scope out ten heads and shoot. You can miss but make sure you get a headshot. If you mess up, reload the checkpoint. If you run out of enemies, go back out through the gate and there should be some leftovers if you didn't kill them already.

In some cases you won't get it because you think you shot them in the head, but it counts as a body shot so just reload and try again. It doesn't take long at all.

GpKprodigyThe best way I found possible was waiting out the T-Rex to leave knocked down what few enemies that were outside grabbed the sniper then ran out back up the hill a bit to a point to where u can zoom in on the enemies heads through the sides of the gate made the line up much easier on a sure shot for the head and they moved less

You can pick this Achievement up pretty early in the game as well as the excellent video method posted by lozzy7. I notched this shortly after acquiring the bow. Unfortunately, I'm not well set-up to put together a video guide, so bear with my descriptions.

Just past the bow, you'll reach a compound called the MG Base. (It's just beyond the area with all the pipes, which you can climb onto and assault from above.) Once you get inside, your AI partner will head out on his own and leave you to progress alone. Here's where you can start tallying your headshots.

In the first room, there are four guards. Hang back and wait for the one behind those crates closest to your right to reveal himself. You should be able to plunk him in the back of the head with your bow (or a well-placed SMG shot - but I recommend the bow) and pick off the other three one-by-one as they move in to investigate. Before you leave this area, climb the ladder on the left to restock on arrows.

In the next room, there are lots of places to lay low while waiting for prey. Follow the first guard around to the right side and headshot him, then jump under the stairs to the right and hide behind all the boxes. This makes a great ambush point, and you can probably get another 4-5 more before you have to move out again. At least wait until the 2-man patrol comes down the stairs over your head. You don't want to get boxed in.

You should only need one or two more by the time you step into the open, so dart out to the far side and go about half-way up the steps to draw attention and lure a couple to the stairs. If you double back down to the ground floor, you can hit them as they come down after you - they tend to only send one at a time. Two might start down the stairs, but one usually turns back about half-way down.

    Happy hunting!
