How to unlock the Curb Appeal achievement

This achievement speaks for itself - simply kill one hundred enemies with a Curb Stomp execution in ranked matches.

This can be done on any map - and simply involves downing an enemy (with any weapon), and then approaching them. As you get close enough, you can hit "X" to perform the violent stomp crushing their skull.

BusyRichI don't have the achievement yet, but I voted positive just to cancel out Qu33n Embla's stupid and pointless negative vote on what is essentially a sound guide.

This can be done while suicide-boosting Seriously in War Machine. The player going long will be getting curb stomps and must be the host.

    1) The opposing player going short ("Short") picks up the grenade, then meets up with the long runner ("Long").
    2) Long melees Short with the pistol.
    3) Short immediately tags Long.
    4) Before the tagging animation completes, and Long regains control, mash X and B alternately with your fingers as fast as possible.
    5) Long will melee, downing Short. Long will almost instantly cancel into the curb stomp animation, and may complete it before the grenade explodes, killing both.

If the animation completed, a curb stomp kill will be awarded. If not, the player will only get an execution. This method is not perfect, as I got curb stomps about 1/3 of the time and executions 1/2 the time.

Short should be facing the sandbags when picking up the grenades to lower the risk of Long picking up the smoke grenade due to the X mashing.

When I was doing this, about 1/6 of my attempts ended in only my death, while my partner was left bleeding out. This means you may lose a few kills doing this in a match. However, your partner is NOT at risk of losing kills.

I was able to complete both Curb Appeal and Capital Punishment with this method. This will eliminate the need to spend time in weapons boosting sessions to unlock them.

Octobot SuperThis is an important piece of information (that I'm honestly surprised no one else has noticed): There are two different animations for the tagger: overhead and underhand. If you are the person getting tagged, and the tagger tags you overhead, you will most likely not be able to pull off the Curb Stomp. If the tagger does the underhand tag, you character will recover fast enough to pull off another melee and Curb Stomp before the grenade goes off.

In order to do the underhand tag, I believe the tagger must be moving forward while tagging. This is all purely anecdotal, but I feel that it works.

This isn't really a solution, more some advice for people trying to unlock the various kill related achievements as quickly as possible - at the end of every boosting session you should play a quick one round local match against a second controller before quitting to dashboard or turning off your xbox. I've done this and unlocked Seriously yesterday pretty much bang on 10000 kills. I've also unlocked all the weapon kill achievements after 100 kills.

I think what's going on is that sometimes, for whatever reason, the progress you make in the last match of a session isn't added to the various achievement counters. I first noticed this when boosting the 'Win 20 matches on map X' achievements - if I won 20 matches in one session the achievement would pop, but if I spread them out across multiple sessions I'd have to play 21, 22, sometimes 23 matches depending on how many sessions it took.

Of course, it's possible I've just been really, really lucky - there's no way I can prove this works. If people start trying this and it doesn't work out let me know and I'll take this solution down.

Octobot SuperI unlocked this at 93 kills; This doesn't confirm that this solution is true, but it also doesn't disprove it either (I DID use this method after any time I played the game, however).

Interestingly, this DOES disprove the theory that you can "only get a certain number of weapons kills per match," (at least up to 72 kills) since I got 72 Curb Stomps during one match of a weapons boosting session and this didn't affect anything at all.
