I'm telling you I can beat the killing 757 guide time by at least a full minute and everyone knows time is always the leading factor to getting achievements done, especially boring ones like these. Props to the killing 757 though for a well put together guide, he just made the unfortunate mistake of making a good guide for a bad map.
My guide is for the 2 person boosting method and will run about a minute and a half per each match. I ran a match while watching the video guide of killing 757 method and was over with my method and starting a another match before that video match was done.
Here's the set up:
RANKED MATCH
POST GRAB
TIME: N/A I use default 10
INITIAL EQUIPMENT: N/A unless you want kills, but that also adds time to your matches.
STAGE: Dilapidation (This is the smallest map in this game and is very easy to negotiate as you initiate one post, you practically see your next post. There is only one odd ball post which is actually not that bad.
LAYOUT: 1 The difference between layouts is where the post are.
FRIENDLY FIRE: N/A for obvious reasons.
The only two differences are where you initially spawn in either case the time on the map will be about the same (give or take a couple of seconds) the two initial spawn points are:
One person spawns in a burning hallway.
One person spawns in the opposite building on a lower level.
It doesn't really matter where you spawn but I prefer the non burning building.
I have noticed that when you host the game you almost always spawn at the non burning hallway spot.
The basic layout for the post in this match is one big circle.
For the person spawning in the non burning building:
Post#1 Straight in front off you. You have to walk around a wall.
Post#4 Straight in front of Post#1 look up and shoot your tether line up to the next ledge. Again look up and tether to the next floor.
Post#2 Look to the right of Post#4 you should see it on the outside ledge.
********There is two ways you can go from here, but to make it easier I'll explain it only one way, later I will explain the easier route though. This is where the odd ball post is also. It just means its out of the way.
Post#5 (Odd ball post) From Post#2 look down on the edge your standing on until you see a weapon (its the yellow rotating triangle) Jump to that. If you miss no big deal just tether line up to the ledge directly below it. Now you see Post #5.
Post #3 if you hadn't already seen it at Post #2 get back up to Post#2 and look to your right. The big spiral structure you see, to your left has a ledge and a hallway, tether up to that first level above the hall entrance and follow it around to Post#3.
BATTLE OVER.
****The easier way as promised:
From Post#2 just continue to Post#3 then turn to towards Post #2 again and look for the weapon on the wall below it. That opening below the weapon is where Post#5 is.
For the person spawning in the burning hallway, just go straight out of the hall but do not jump down. After clearing the building loom to your right and you'll see Post #2. You can now refer to the guide above for the other post, but basically I would grab the post in this order 2, 3, 5, 4, 1 or you could grab 3, 2, first any
way you want to run it, you can even try your own way to see if it speeds things up.
