Getting this legit just takes time. If you are trying to complete the game, you will get it while doing so. However if you are looking for an easy way to pick up this achievement without having to play 1000 hands look no further than the tips given for

Texas Hold'emLuck of the DrawThe Luck of the Draw achievement in Texas Hold'em worth 81 pointsGet one of every type of hand from High Card to Royal Flush.

Basically get in the game, play the lowest table (with the free buy-in) and rubberband your "A" button (easier with a guitar controller - note I used a corded rockband controller and had to rubberband the lower "tap" button). This will auto-call/bet/continue all hands. If you run out of money, you'll get $100 free and keep going. The only downside to this is, when you get the achievement, the game pops a message up that won't clear from the pressed "A" button... so keep watch of it if you are also going for "luck of the draw".

BODZ61Good stuff DragonYen. This is exactly how I got this one, except I used a regular controller instead of the guitar. Thanks.

DragonYenWhen I did it, I had a wired guitar, but not a wired controller. Either should work fine. I just pointed out the guitar controller because on mine I had to use the lower tap button, and if someone else has a similar issue, that might help them out with it. Thanks for the comment (and thumb up vote). =)

Mr GranstaffOut of curiosity, about how long do you think it takes to play 1000 hands with this method? My calculations stink, but I gathered each hand takes about a minute to complete, so to play a 1000 hands, it should take around 16 hours. You think that sounds about right?

DragonYenI guess it depends on how often the computer decides to play vs fold. I think the total time could be considerably more or less based on the randomness of the cards. That's why I didn't really offer up any sort of guess.

Mr GranstaffThat's true, but I appreciate the response nonetheless. My game froze last night and I believe the game saves only if you back out to the main menu, correct? Only reason I ask was solely out of curiosity - would have been nice to see an achievement unlocked when I got home, but with the game freezing, I probably shouldn't expect anything. laugh

DragonYenI'm not positive on the save. It's possible that it might save when you run out of money (and buy in for free) or between hands. I guess I'd suggest to not expect anything and surprise if it does. I know there are in-game stats for the hands you have played, so at worst you should be able to add those up to see your current count. There might even be a stat for total hands played (I'm not home, or I would check).

BB rockerJust wanted to add, playing this on an Xbox one if you hold A and disconnect the controller the game will continue to play. Not sure if it is a 'bug' with the emulator or something else.
