the easiest way is to set the difficulty to easy for most races you find hard (doesn't affect the Achievement ).
just remember the easy setting makes you earn less, so it's wise to change the difficulty to normal or more for easy races and setting it back to easy on the hard ones

So they guys above me already told what you have to do to obtain the achievement, and it's really not that hard. But i want to give you a more detailed description, especially for those who are new in DiRT. So there is one thing what you must know before you start playing with this game. DiRT is very, very arcade style game, so don't expect any kind of driving simulation here (except the damage simulation, that's pretty good) As DiRT games came out, Codemasters learned how to improve the cars handling, and it gets better and better by the time. But right now stick with DiRT. If you play for the first time, it could be very difficult to stay on track, and it's ok, it's not your fault. This is the way how things are working here. If you complete a few races and you learn where and when to use the break, you will be fine. Using the regular brake and handbrake (B) could be very useful, especially in sharp turns.

If you are new in the rally genre, there is something you should know. Always listen to your navigator. He tells you a lot of useful stuff. Mostly informs you about forthcoming turns. He tells you the direction of the turn (Left or Right, obviously) and the sharpness of the turn. 1 means it's a pin sharp turn, 6 means it's almost straight, so you don't have to slow down. So measure the sharpness of the coming turn by numbers. Sometimes he speaks very fast and tells you more information than you need, but it happens rarely so don't worry. Sometimes he says "Open", which means there is no railing in the edge of the turn, so you really should slow down a bit if you don't want to fall down into the gap. He also informs you about bumps, and tells you how far is the next bump/turn or if the surface is changing to gravel or asphalt, etc... Of course, you can also use the minimap on the top, but i don't recommend it since you want to keep your eyes on the road. Just... ignore that stuff.

Camera angles are also very exciting stuff, but cockpit view can distract you and i think it makes you harder to concentrate. I always used the Far View option, so i had a pretty good view on the track. But of course it's up to you which angle you want to use.

I also tried to collect a list from the cars wich are more or less usable (being view the horrible, arcade style controls) to give you a hand, which cars are worth to buy through the carreer.

    - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX
    - Citroën C4 Concept Car (The BEST car in the game, believe me!)
    - Fiat Grande Punto Super 2000
    - Renault Clio Super 1600
    - Subaru Impreza '95
    - Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2
    - Fiat 131 Abarth
    - Audi Quattro S1 Pikes Peak (A bit oversteering, be very careful with it)
    - Peugeot 405 T16 Pikes Peak
    - Freightliner Century Class S/T
    - Lotus Exige
    - Citroën Xsara 4x4 T16
    - Nissan Pickup Dakar
    - KAMAZ 4911
    - McMillin Racing Car
    - Toyota Tundra (Pretty much the same as the Chevrolet Silverado, so doesn't really matter which one you buy, but i think the Toyota is a bit easier to control)
    - Aaron Hawley Super Buggy
