For this achievement you will need to collect every type of item in the game, there are 380 total items, you can keep track of what items you have in your logs in the menu.

Visit this link for the full list of items:

    http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37...

Thanks to Murbay for this awesome list.

Be sure when you look at the list to read the ones with red text as these are MISSABLE items, and if missed you will not be able to go back for them, thus forfeiting this achievement.

Note: Item No. 317, The Eyepatch is also missable, be sure and talk to the Traveler in the Lal Mountain Sheep Tribe Camp before heading off to the Great Desert (where you will find the Handwritten Manuscript you must trade him.) If you do not the traveler will vanish from the village and never trade for the eye patch. This occurs on Disc 3.

Thanks to albajos for the tip.

StarlinXI'm not too sure how accurate that list is. I'm barely into the game and decided to see what achievements are missable. Going over that list it says "258 - Water Earring - Received by talking to Meg in Cafe Jibral at the beginning of disc two" and lists it as red, missable.... but I just got one from a chest in the Undersea Cavern, first disc right after you get Marumaro...

RhyoliticIf someone has the Prima/MS guide for the game, there is one bit that can really mess with a person. It's when you can get Toripo's Autograph. From the wording of the guide, it makes it sound like you get it during the final cutscenes after the Rare Flower, but that's not accurate. You need to find Toripo hiding behind the mechat on the Mecha Cube, before you finish the game.

Also, in regards to Nene's Earring from the last Szabo, there's an easy way of getting it. If you got the DLC w/the six items, one of them is a Master Thief Manual. It's a one-time use item that allows you to steal the rare item from an enemy at a 100% success rate. It's found in the Support section of the items. Save it for him and you'll not have to pull your hair out resetting. Also, that DLC pack has a item called the Nothing Glasses, that marks all the search spots that contain Nothings with a star, so that you don't have to search everything just for them.

I created a checklist for this to keep track of my progress. As usual I shared it on Google Docs: Google Docs - Blue Dragon

See the 5th page of the spreadsheet (titled "Items"). Simply download your own copy of the document and enter a "1" in the red box on each row as you collect the item. Missable items are displayed in bold.

Use the guide (first three pages) which lists which enemies you should encounter and items you should obtain before progressing to the next part of the game.

Crimson Drifter has done some excellent guides for the achievements in Blue Dragon, so thank you to him!

I am only adding in some help for Nene's Earring, a missable item on Disc 3 of the game. To obtain this item, you need to fight the Phantom Dragon and steal it from him. If you were like me and getting nothing but Ancient Feathers everytime you tried this, it can be quite frustrating. This is how I did it:

    1. Prepare yourself for the battle - It's no good to go into this fight weak and steal the item because you are going to get your ass handed to you. What I did was I levelled up all of my Shadows to 99 before attempting this fight. Then, I prepared my skills so that I had great defense and magic attack numbers. Remember: This Dragon's only weakness is wind. Physical attacks heal it so make sure you remove any counterattack skills. I was at Level 50-53 for my characters and only sustained low triple-digit damages.

    2. Have Agility - Your Agility stat should be paired with your thief (the character who will have the Steal command). Also, make sure they have the Hermes' Shoes so they always attack first. Also, equip the Treasure Hunter skill to better your chances.

    3. Save - Travel to the desert and save before you meet the Dragon. This is pretty obvious but I thought I'd put this here anyways.

    4. Invisibility - This was the biggest game-changer for me and this item. I used one of my invisibility potions to run to the back of this Dragon and perform a back attack. Before doing this, I stole nothing but Ancient Feathers. The first time I cloaked myself and performed a back attack, my first thief with Maromaru (my thief) garnered my Nene's Earrings.

    I hope this helps!
