You're going to need at least all level 60-75 characters to do this. I recommend running through normal once and easy once as well. On the easy play-through, grab all the simulator discs and follow my guide here

I would recommend using the simulator missions, specifically the VS discs to level up. Hulk with his rage boost destroys health, Dr. Doom is just an energy source and can deal more than his share of damage. Silver Surfer (when you get him) is invaluable when you get molecular mix-up (400+ damage at level 99) and Wolverine for his regeneration and bleed damage against enemies. These are the best characters to fight Doom as they can all beat on him and deal massive damage while maintaing a solid amount of health.

Before you vote negative, leave a comment. I check this pretty frequently and I'm more than happy to fix or update/correct this solution.

Level 75 NoobTurns out Moon Knight can demolish pretty much any boss in a matter of seconds with a high enough leveled 'Nunchuk' ability. You just need to switch to a different character and wail on them while his energy recharges on the later battles.

There is 2 ways to get this

    1. the easy way: find a friend or someone with a save file on hard right before the final boss and just do the last boss battle.

    2. the hard way: first you need to complete a playthru in normal to unlock hard mode(a playthru in easy does not count)
the ideal level your party must have is around level 80 but i can confirm you can kill dr doom with a party as low as level 57

the party i used the whole game was the following

spider woman: long range attacks (venom blast) She also funcions as a healer
Wolverine: heavy Hitter he also regenerates.
Iron Man: mostly for his energy re-route ability this will allow your other team mates to abuse energy abilities.
spiderman: webwarrior (this ability sometimes will mop up entire waves of enemies with ease)

The SCHWARTZ 00Doom (Curse Of Doom + Shield)
Surfer (Molecular Mixup + charged up Cosmic Beam)
    Hulk (Fury....its all you need)
Thor (Asgards Blessing + Thors Rage w/Dark Uru gear)

    all of them level 70+

absolutely death incarnate. Hard mode feels like Super Casual.

I was on my third playthrough or so when I got this. All of my characters are 64-65ish.

USE 'POINT BLANK.' When an energy attack is done within X number of feet from someone with point blank, it stacks on extra damage.

    Party:
Ms Marvel (outfit with point blank)
    Iron Man (original outfit)
Ice Man (outfit with point blank)
Human Torch (outfit with point blank)

All as maxed as possible. point blank stacks the damage. For Dark Fantastic Four I used Iron Man's power with the ricocheting lasers. Since everyone's so close at the beginning of the fight, you'll eat up FF's health quickly. The lasers ricochet and point blank makes the extra damage stack up. Use Iron Man's energy-saving boost, and for the other 3, use the power-ups that add damage for the party.

Also, I believe most of those 4 outfits have some sort of 'reflect melee' skill, too. Make sure you max that out the best you can.

If one's health gets low, quickly switch to another character, preferably your #2 offense character. If you're playing solo, the FF will be more likely to target your newly-controlled character than the now-CPU-controlled hurting-for-health teammate.

Once they are taken care of, kill them individually to get Doom to face you. This part is a piece of cake with Iron Man's laser, once again, because even though you and Doom will throw eachother across the room, the laser has a very long reach. If you're backed against a wall, firing, you can keep on firing at him pretty much uninterrupted until you get the win. Also, a reminder, that laser ricochets, so you have a good chance of nailing Doom or Dark FF members with it multiple times. Combine that with the stacked damaged and you're in business!
