The Cloverdale tournament is the third tournament you will be invited to in homecourt challenge mode. I was invited just after I hit level 18. Just accept the invite you get from Carmelo Anthony in order to enter this tournament.

Each tournament in the game consists of a bracket in which you will need to win 3 consecutive pickup games to 21.

This game is not hard to beat especially if you set the difficulty to easy. But in order to make it even easier I recommend choosing a player who is good in Shooting, Dunking, and Stealing because those are the most important skills. A good choice would be the forward JJ Smoke. I would use the freak skill you get at level 5 on shooting that way you can just keep draining 2 pointers to quickly win games. Also try to perfect the timing of the double dunk, it is very useful in dunk only games or games that you keep getting blocked by big men. When you hit level 15 and get your mastered skill use it on dunks.

You will also want to choose 2 teammates that are good at blocking/boards. That way if you don't get the steal they will be a good second defense. Check the recruits section often in order to upgrade teammates as you progress.

My last piece of advice is to keep upgrading your gear to the newest pieces that you unlock with the highest reward point bonuses.

With this setup you should finish the game in about 4-5 hours.
