A Nil is when you bet 0, so this means you can't take any tricks in the hand. You need to successfully do this 100 times for the achievement.

I was searching for the quickest way to do this, and I found that these settings worked the best for me when I was going for this achievement (in single-player mode):

Teams: Partners
Game Type: Standard
Pass Cards: Pass 2 Cards
Nil: 50 Points (You won't be able to change this, it will be grayed out)
Blind Nil: No
Shoot the Moon: Yes
Game End: 200 Points

Make sure to bid Nil every hand. I bid Nil and was successful about 90% of the time! Make sure to pass your partner spades, aces, or something that will short suit you so you can throw out high cards of other suits. For example: if I had more than 2 spades, or if the spades were face cards, I passed them. I would also pass face cards of other suits if I didn't have at least one or two low cards of the same suit to save me from accidentally taking a trick. Make sure you throw out any high cards you have whenever you have the opportunity (ie: throw out a face card of a different suit when the computer plays a suit you don't have)! Your computer partner will actually be quite helpful while you're going for Nil, the computer will start tricks with high cards and save you with their spades from time to time. It took me about an hour when I was going for this specifically.

EDIT: If you have a group of 4 people, you can work together to boost this achievement. Communicate what cards you have and "trade" going for Nils. This will take you longer to achieve if you boost (since you are doing it for more than one person) but, if you're having trouble in single player, it is an option.

Good Luck!
